Hello there, I got to play this as a judge at Kinematifest at Webster University! I really liked this idea. I was actually just telling my wife the story about this tiger the other day.  Really creative art style, and I definitely liked the tiger animations. The game map felt a little empty, though, and I spent about 30 minutes running around after finding the first note right outside. Avoiding the tiger felt a bit too easy, so this kinda dragged, but I really liked the music, the idea, and the story of the game. Extremely creative, great atmosphere, but could use a bit more excitement, a solid game overall!

Hey, I got to play this as a judge at Kinematifest at Webster University! I had a great time swinging around and blasting spider bots. I did feel they were a little slow and unthreatening, though, and jumping around was a little clunky. I got stuck on some of the boxes trying to hop around at first, and I noticed your control instructions here on Itch.io don't mention that the 'F' key helps you pick up the new weapon. A little more animation or robot hands moving with the weapon attacks would go a long way.

The idea is really freakin' cool though! I was a little confused by the sheet music healthbar at first, and I think it would be better soundwise if the music sound effects played changed more to match the chords and notes shown on screen. I also wasn't quite sure what the purpose of changing notes was, but I imagine it could be used to some neat effect and gameplay variation.  Excellent work for a student project, I could definitely see this growing into a full commercial game.

an Amazing blend of political commentary, art, and gameplay elements - I feel like I've learned more about game design by playing this than I have in any of my classes.

Thank you so much, I'll be sure the rest of the team sees this!

I love the suggestion, and truly, it's a great tragedy that we weren't able to use a red herring pun in the game. A false suspect named Rhett Herring would have been awesome. I like the false clues concept. Maybe in a future update!

Prototype implies that it's not even a finished game, which it isn't.  You can find several weapons on the map, the easiest being the sword, which is in a nook beside the pirate.

Super cute graphics, I love how the vikings and monks bounce off of each other, made it fun to watch.

A lot of interesting stuff about Norse law here!

A fun game and a most original concept!

Challenging and fun gameplay loop, and the first submission, too!  Awesome work d(^_^)b

I liked that steering the ship was slow!  The HP threshold made this game pretty easy, and there were a couple of bugs like being able to steer through the beach, but overall a fantastic job!

Very cool concept!  It was a little confusing figure out but a neat strategy game overall!

I like the character customization and the concept! The controls were a little hard to get used to, it seemed like the sword wouldn't always attack with the up and down movement.  Still, a lot of fun!

I like the art and the music, and a great concept for a quick jam game.  Now imagine the folks who didn't have bath day!

Hey everybody!  I am pleased to announce the launch of my new sidescroller Kali's Wrath!  I made this game for my wife's birthday, which starts at the beginning of the Hindu festival of Navaratri, celebrating the goddess Durga.

Once Durga was assaulted by an Asura who had an incredible boon, which created a copy of the demon every time even a single drop of blood touched the earth.  Facing this unstoppable beast, Raktabīja, Durga created Kali with her third eye. Kali sucked up all the demon's blood so that none of it would touch the earth and thus defeated him.

Take your turn as Kali and strike Raktabīja down!  Loads of Easter eggs, fast-paced action, and nostalgic background music make this new release a must see indy game.  Use the keyboard or a controller, and compete with friends for the high score!
