I swear they were working on it together...

Could be great with a little more time in the oven to iron out all the bugs and add meaningful decisions to the combat! It's a fun theme to play with. The slowness of movement combined with the potentially game-ending bug is unfortunate.

that's rad; whereabouts?

The inventory management and the long walk animations (no animations are preferable to long waits) make it tough to play. Neat idea, going around doing space missions. The allies being smarter and maybe taking simple commands from the player could be cool.

Very cool! Inspired by stuff like Backpack Hero maybe? A bit easy to cheese when you get the "AP Regen" move. Enemies respawning in rooms and when you drop them is annoying, I didn't understand the first couple times that I left the menu and a dude was on top of me. I got what I assume is the default ending, not sure how I'd get another one!

Brutally difficult! Made it to level 4 once on a good run, felt very dependent on the RNG. Ran out of arrows against the spiders and just got mauled by a pack I had to approach. Being forced to walk into tiles you can't see or running out of arrows and getting slapped by a snake feels so, so bad haha. Nice game progression. See below for some impossible RNG!

I'm not sure playing as your corpse is meant to be possible but it's certainly funny. Also, the border tiles flicker constantly for me. The sprites and health bars are nice.

This could be a cool Horizon Zero Dawn kind of roguelike! I don't think you get enough scrap back from machines to continue (and melee felt untenable--might need to consider an enemy move preview or something to make melee possible with 1 hp?) but yeah, I see the vision. Did get smacked on crossing a border once, RIP.

Yeah, this is pretty fun. Sneaking between shots and scampering to the exit. Sometimes difficult to tell what exactly is going to happen, but that may be a learning thing. Unfortunate crash as I beat the game with 30 credits or so.

What if I make assets out of the tileset and only include those?

Hey, does your licence allow for inclusion in an open source project or would you count that as redistribution?

That's embarrassing 💀

Yep!

Hey, seems like the curved minecart tracks are missing in the assets?

Well that was grim(m).

that was a trip, love the character portraits. nice work! a couple typos that I'm not sure are intentional.

Eerie!

You missed the frog, but that's okay. Thanks for playing!

Hey, I think you forgot to include the actual game?

Lovely game! Presentation is wonderful.

This is super good. The perspective of a pet during an apocalypse is a great idea, and what a scary apocalypse it is.

I enjoy Sokoban puzzles, almost made it more involved :)

Thanks :) I tried to make the world feel a bit dynamic.

:(

+1 for this. Would love to potentially tinker with cel7.

Your .love file doesn't work, I guess there was a problem with your bytecode compilation.

What is the default character list/order?  Doesn't seem to follow ASCII. The default colours would be nice info as well.

edit: Just more info in general would be nice too. More info on memory layout, how the background colour in the maze demo was done, etc.
edit2: Figured out the palette.

So the files are just cat'd together? That works, I suppose.

Is there a way to import or structure multiple files? Or does it all need to be in one big file? Thanks.

Can you include a .love file? We are not all Windows users.

Nice game! Pretty tough as well.
