Hi everyone! Solo dev here. I just released Arbiter: A Year That Cannot End, a short decision game about ruling a mountain village from the top of a watchtower.

Every year someone wakes up at the top of the tower, and this year it's you. Below lies Vertigo, a village with no lord and no laws. Every day a villager climbs up with a request: you swipe left or right, and whatever you answer becomes a rule the whole village lives by. Woodcutters go out at dawn, patrols walk at night, and some choices come back days later in ways nobody planned. Contradict yourself and people stop listening.

  • 47 requests, 3 forces (Order, Nature, Faith), 10 endings
  • A hand-made 3D village with pixel-art villagers, through four seasons
  • English and Italian

It's part of a shared world I'm building, Final World, but you don't need to know anything about it to play. I'd really like to hear which ending you got first.

Hi Jan! Sorry for the late reply, the download is available now :) Give it a try and let me know what you think!
