I agree! Backgrounds would be great to immerse the player in the environment

The multiple decimal places also remind me of reaction time testers where you have to press a button when something changes.

I agree with the battery inconsistencies, I reached single digit percentages but when I would return to the "home screen" I was back at 10%

Better yet, I think adding stock images with the watermark still present will contribute to the tone you are trying to set.

It was a little difficult to parse what is part of the narrative and what is a button prompt. I think making the color of the button prompts different than the narration would help.

There isn't much direction for the player so I was unsure what to do. I think reducing the amount of locations or making the narrator give more hints as to what the player should do.

I think adding some text to indicate what button to press to progress the game will be really helpful. Either that, or writing in the description what button to press. The story is really interesting so far and I'm curious to see what else there is to it!

I haven't played much of it, but the vibes of this game remind me of Job Simulator (the VR game) where everything in various work environments is depicted in an overly sarcastic/satirical tone. The red text in this game remind me of when the voice actors in Job Simulator change their inflection for emphasis.

The choices to fight/bond/run and the mention of "determination" loosely remind me of Undertale

The interface reminds me of the reading we had last week, A Story As You Like It

I encountered a bug at the "Lenore! Did you observe anything peculiar?" Branch where neither option progressed the game.

@kay24601/kay got a 4/5 on my first try (don't know which one I got wrong, tho) I should just drop out of college and try my luck with online gambling or day trading. This game would be a great start to any start of a new class. I would actually prefer this an any syllabus test!  way to go to test my knowledge on this course, are you an agent for the professor?

@gloriium/ellie

I like how the game really feels like a quiz with higher stakes (maybe this should be a mandatory assignment to play, lol?) I got a 5/5!!!!!! So studious of me!!!!!

Yasmeen mentioned this as well but I like that you don't get to know what you did right and what you did wrong so that you have to push yourself to think about which ones you were correct about

The cyclical design of the game feels like real life. Every day we must wake up and go to work 😔

The game was short, the transitions worked, and I got a 4/5 on my first try. I think that while the quiz was well made, I would have liked more questions. The white and dark contrast was good, but I would have liked to see more feedback, scrolling text, etc.

The dark background of the game feels very mysterious, and with mentions of a "light," the light colored buttons almost feel beckoning

I'm curious behind the difference in the tone of the game description and the tone of the game. They are very contrasting which makes me wonder if I didn't explore thoroughly enough in the game

I got 5 endings, I wonder if there are more and if they are of the same tone. It gives a very inevitable vibe where choice is meaningless and the outcome is the same

There are a lot of choices so I wonder how many branches there are. I didn't play long enough to see any paths converge but it would be interesting to be given the illusion of choice

Wow this feels like a bait and switch game! I like the message of the game

I think I hit all the wrong answers on my first playthrough 😅 I like the replayability

The content and difficulty of the quizzes surprised me. I was tempted to pull out a calculator on my first playthrough but I refrained.

I like how small the player is, it makes the dinosaurs look really huge in comparison. Perhaps try playing around with smoothness of the textures? Some of the grass textures look shiny/metallic.

This is a very creative solution to 1.2! The player looks a little tall for the space, though

I really like how you decorated the room and the house. Big fan of the wallpaper; it makes it very cohesive

The interior design looks very cohesive, I think the lighting fits well in the first room.

also the sounds are average day at ucd I feel LOL

I like the tone this game brings on, it feels like there's more that meets the eye. Good luck to Mikayla

This is so silly! I like how all the objects are characterized (I'm also a sucker for bad puns). The music and font choice also does a lot with setting the tone

The world you made is very intriguing! The animations are cool

The city is very expansive and I like the gameplay you added! The day/night cycle is also cool

The sheer amount of models in the scene is so impressive! I really liked the broccoli forest. I think sound would be a good addition to this game!

I really like the sky box you chose! I think the room could have more things to fill the space

The series of statues lined up makes for a very eerie atmosphere. I like the wind sounds a lot, too.

I really like the different variations of lighting and textures, it feels very foreboding

The red lights appearing starting in the second loop give off the impression of arrest/getting in trouble for politically-charged meme paintings.

The initial text really reminds me of the last level in The Beginner's Guide. I like the water atmosphere. Great job!

WOWOWOW I love the environment so much!!! The colors are really bright, and the characters are really cute! I think you could experiment a little with the smoothness of textures, I noticed the drawings of the characters looked a little shiny. Maybe putting the smoothness slider all the way at 0 will make them blend into the environment more!

The textures and the audio make the game really scary, I like it!
