Yes, I did it through another site, where they posted several download links (the one I used was Mega). Yes, the update is quite short, but I'm okay with that. Perhaps I found the sex scenes too short and less inspired than the previous ones.

It still doesn't work, exactly as in the photo I posted before. It asks me to choose an email, it makes me select "installation packages" (which I don't even know what it is) the download never starts. This only happens to me here, with all the other itch.io downloads I don't have this problem.

For me it is not a problem of content, on the contrary, I prefer small monthly updates, rather than one every 5-6 months (and it is not guaranteed that they will be long), as happens for many VNs.

I think the development of this VN also takes a lot of time.

You shouldn't feel guilty; you're writing a good story that has struck a chord with many, or at least touched me. The fact that I'm so sensitive about the latest updates is, in a way, also connected to my recent past, it's not your fault 😉

For now, I'll continue to follow the next developments, that's for sure, even if the doubts I mentioned are still there. You have my attention.

Hi, I'll try to answer in the hope of explaining myself. Spoilers follow, again! 

So, the problem isn't the themes covered, nor the story itself. In fact, I expected the truth to be revealed to us and Finn at some point. And that's fine. It was clear that Mert and Artyom had other goals and that their love for Finn was a means to achieve something else. Of course, I didn't expect it to go this far because, as I've already said, Mert and Artyom have no understanding of Finn as a person; they see him only as a tool, and that's inhuman, light years away not only from love, but even from any form of affection. And overall, I think that, against all odds, Mert and Artyom's behaviors and backgrounds have gone too far, so much so that it's impossible to go back while maintaining a credible and plausible narrative. The focus of my discussion isn't Finn. I understand his character, and it's also clear that he needs to grow, become the best version of himself (or the worst?). At the beginning of the story, he's a disheartened person, hiding in mediocrity, a victim of the traumatic events that have overwhelmed him. I can empathize with him (most of the time). So what's the problem? The point is what we know "outside the story." We can make a thousand assumptions and interpretations, but there's one thing we know, and one that Polar has repeatedly reiterated: Mert and Artyom are the main love interests (the secondary characters are secondary). So, if the author keeps repeating that we'll have a romantic relationship with them and to wait for the story to progress, given everything we know, I wonder: is this really possible? I can't imagine a solution that makes a HEALTHY love between them plausible. Of course, this could be a story about unhealthy relationships, that won't have a happy ending, or that aims to arouse feelings of unease, discomfort, and dark thoughts in readers. 

But I repeat that Polar's premise is different, and I quote him directly: "The story isn't going to be as bitter as you might think." And even if I can't see a bright twist, I want to believe Polar's words, because I really need something good at this point in my life, even if it's fiction. In general, I think not everyone is capable of generating a debate, and that's always a good thing. It means this story has struck a chord (more than once, and painfully). I'm just afraid it's gone too far to redeem those who should be our love interests. Right now, I much prefer Berno, even Holger, even if he's a cannibal, at least I know his interest in Finn is genuine, because he's hungry 😂

So, Polar has said several times that Mert and Artyom are "the main love interests." Now, after everything that's happened, everything that's been revealed, including Artyom's reports, I really don't know how they can still be considered "love interests."

I don't want to rush to judgment on the author's writing skills, but a story, like the relationships between characters, must be believable. And I really can't—perhaps it's my limitation—imagine how anything could end well between Finn and the two liars, because in reality, it would be nearly impossible to fix things at this point, unless they accept a toxic relationship of some kind.

I'm not just referring to the possibility that Finn might forgive them, or understand their reasons (some extremely serious, involving the massacre of innocents and children), but even focusing solely on the romantic aspect, there are too many elements working against it: even though it was clear that Mert and Artyom were involved in the affair and that their infatuation with Finn was too sudden at first, I hoped there were at least some solid foundations, like a real attraction, even if only sexual. But Mert and Artyom feel NO attraction or feelings whatsoever towards Finn. In fact, they never show a shred of empathy towards him, and what we've discovered in recent updates is that Finn is decidedly annoying to them. Plus, they love each other, which further closes the possibility for Finn. So I'm not wondering how Finn can still love them, because I can imagine several ways to do that, but I do wonder how Mert and Artyom could change their minds, how it's possible that they could suddenly fall in love with him, or that they could just as suddenly find him attractive. In fact, it's clear from their words and thoughts that they find nothing interesting in Finn. The things Mert said to Finn during the fight with the white dog, and Artyom's thoughts about Finn in his reports are brutally clear. To them, he's boring, mediocre, spoiled, superficial, attracted to money and wealth, childish, weak, incompetent, and not even attractive.

They're not even worried about him after the attack on the island, while Finn is in shock because he just saw two people die, was almost killed, and saved Berno. Only two sociopaths can't feel empathy in a situation like that. 

Maybe it's because I got out of a long, toxic relationship with a lying narcissist, but this whole thing really made me sad and somewhat "scared" (thanks to my ex for giving me PTSD), but right now I just want to go back to Berno and get away from those two as quickly as possible.

This isn't meant as a criticism, and perhaps my perception of some aspects is personal. I'll continue to follow the development for a while, because I'm curious to see how it goes, even excited at the idea of being positively surprised. But I also need to feel positive and reassuring emotions, so I hope I don't have to abandon the project because I can't stand the stress of such a cruel story 😂

Anyway, I'm the guy who couldn't unlock the Club (or Maddox's content outside the gym or in Kuri's shop).

Based on what you told me, I think the requirement is completing Stryker and Rohan's quests, but that's not possible (I've attached an image). When I try to click "Seen Striker at the Bar 4" from Rohan's menu, Stryker always repeats the same conversation. The same happens if I go to the bar and talk directly to Stryker himself.

It's basically like a loop. I've already completed everything else, even "Cleaning Up the Alleyways 5," and I can even go to Rohan and Stryker's house.

But if I don't complete this, I imagine the Club will be locked out forever and I won't be able to move on.

I've already tried starting over, but it's happened several times, and each time I get to this point.

How can I fix this?

I'll be honest. I was following Lars's route; everything seemed very well written, and I really love Lars and this type of character. I loved the growing feelings between MC and Lars, seeing their very different personalities come together more and more. Seeing how they care for each other, resolving misunderstandings, despite the many unsaid things and the mysteries of their pasts. I liked to believe that Lars was the most "serious" of the main characters, very mature, the typical gruff guy with a kind heart. By day twelfth, my heart was broken. I wasn't expecting such a drastic change of tone. Suddenly, I found myself in a VN "like so many others," in a cruising bar, with strip dancing, pole dancing, and a Lars I really struggled to recognize compared to the entire narrative surrounding him. I'm an introvert, monogamous, and not inclined to certain dynamics... Certain sensations and contexts make me truly uncomfortable. I was waiting for the moment when their feelings would blossom, imagining different ways it would happen: when they slept together, with a heroic gesture, after an argument, in one of their intimate moments. And instead... One moment I was with a (young)Daddy who cooked, gardened, and was ashamed to show any emotion.  We went from a slow buildup of desire to a lap dance, without declarations, without a kiss (except when he was drunk). I would have expected something like that from Gil, not from Lars. And, maybe I'm exaggerating, but it's happened to me with many VNs: should I expect that from now on everything will be a downward spiral toward nightclubs, polyamory, sex with anyone, sex in public, and all the other content that usually fills VNs? Let me be clear: there's nothing wrong with these things, but they're really not my cup of tea. The premise of this VN was different, so this twist was truly a shock. And I say this as a Lustful Desire player: I found this change of script really out of context. I really wanted to tell Lars I didn't like the idea, and yes, I can do that, but according to the guide, that's not the right answer to give. So my character had to say he was excited about Lars as a stripper. And yes, I know this may sound crazy to many, but I found MC's nightmares more coherent and "reassuring" than this abrupt, out-of-nowhere change from Lars.

The game is very nice, but I have to admit that the characters aren't to my taste (I like muscular or big daddies). So Santino is the only character I really like. Will there be more content with him, or a romantic path?

OMG, this is so bad! I haven't downloaded this update yet, but after seeing this, I don't think I want to. Sometimes the characters in this game seem really sweet and romantic towards our MC, other times they say horrible things to him. Like when Artyom says Finn will never be as important as his ex.

Other times the secondary characters are brutal towards Finn, like the old pervert when he rejects him, as if Finn has the plague.

I really like the game, but the behavior of certain characters often makes me feel uncomfortable, sometimes even the MC himself (the money and gifts thing makes me feel like a cheap slut and really doesn't reflect me).

It is a requirement for several contents, especially for Maddox, who only later appears in Kuri's shop, unlocking the contents with Dual, which are required to go to the Frat Party as "Dual's Not Girlfriend".

Due to some bad choices, and the loss of saves (it happens to me often with new patches) I have restarted the game several times and this is my fourth playthrough I think.

I can NEVER unlock the Club, nor proceed with Maddox (he never shows up at Kuri's shop).

Consequently I can never ask Dual to invite me to the frat party as "Dual's Not Girl", because the prerequisites are the scenes with Maddox at the Kuri shop.

I have even played the latest public patch content, but I still don't have this damn Club.

How can I see Maddox outside the gym and how can I unlock the Club?
