Yep, still more than relevant, and I won't update this post another time and, I guess, just put jam back into the drawer for now. Well, after another few days will pass that is, not right away, yeah...

Hey ther, Itch.io admins, I recently published my first game and my first game jam (Jamming Fennec-1), but unfortunately, neither of them are indexed in search. I've double-checked all quality guidelines, and everything is set to public. Could you please review and index my project and account? Here are the links:

Thank you in advance!

Wow, you really made me blush xd

Hearing that it's the only game you kept coming back to means the absolute world to me! It's not often I get such a sincere and detailed review. I'm running out of words to express my gratitude in the comments, but thank you so much for pushing through to the end and leaving such a nice comment

I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone! I was really doubting myself right up until the end, to the point where I was crunching on things just 1.5 hours before the deadline. Seeing your positive reviews has been incredibly heartwarming.

This jam was a great experience that showed me something important: even when I doubt if my work is "good enough," I should still push through and finish it just to see what happens.

Thank you so much for playing and for your support

I don't understand why people don't check the damn rules, there was no obligation to make a "comfy" game.

Aside from that, thanks for the detailed analysis, I really tried to make it work with my skills (which are none in sound-design and art), so I'm so-so glad that everyone so positive about it. Thanks for playing!

I'll be straightforward, if you have explain a solution: that's bad gamedesign. That, and the fact that I wasn't even able to get three jars, there just wasn't any needed fireflies, everyone was the same. Also I wasn't able to see how the limitation was implemented.

Besides that, the art is pretty nice and ost is very decent, so nice work anyway.

Will I be damned, that's a clear 5/5 for Polish! (I mean, how you could've messed up with so small terminal app, lmao). There's really nothing else to say honestly, dare to guess that this game was made in a couple of hours, I actually will be surprised if it's more than that, no offense . Anyway, at least kudos for creativity anyway :D

First-of-all: kudos for the Linux build. Now to the real stuff: the game is fine, I honestly failed to see how the limitation was implemented, gameplay is pretty confusing. Besides that, it was pleasurable experience, and, as I always say, at least I had something to say about it, that's already not bad imo

Well, I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, but it's not that bad, at least I have something to say. The spawn of guys is buggy, the kept getting stuck somewhere on the corner of the map, the controls are weird, upgrade buttons below the first one just doesn't work and I couldn't see how the limitation was implemented. All said, I still kinda enjoyed it, the gameplay loop is pretty intuitive and easy. Overall, it REALLY lacks polishing, but it could've been a fun little game.

Yep, I didn't want to make it the straightforward way, so I made it so there are always both right and wrong rules. I've seen some do the similar thing but haven't explained which is which, so it was kinda confusing or even frustrating. I'm glad that I managed to avoid it as much as possible.

Thanks for playing!

Glad you liked, honestly I wasn't sure until the end that this will work out, but I guess I was wrong, considering all the reviews.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Oh thank you for this review! I honestly surprised it wasn't that bad because I'm really not a sound-designer myself, and my protégé wasn't able to participate sadly, so I had to figure things out myself. Glad you liked it and Thanks for playing!

Hey there! Sorry for a bit of a late response, I just was a bit overwhelmed after the release (I literally done like 1/5 of the work done in 1.5 hours before the release, the crunch was crazy). I don't really know why you're having this issue, but I did change some settings (full screen button as well), so I hope it works now and that it won't break something else, lmao.

Anyway, I'll be glad if you try it now, both for troubleshooting reasons AND because I would be happy to know your opinion :D

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE DEAD??? I SAVED THEM!
Man this is cruel, I thought I was saving pretty fishes, and they paid me for my kindness, noooo (╥﹏╥)

Nice game! Not that grindy and fairly fun :D

For now it's the best game I've played from this jam! Really nicely done, Additional kudos to you for interesting implementation of a limitation! Very, very good game :D

I mean, it's fine, but I'd say that it's a bad rage-game, because it actually is unfair and un-intuitive in some places, but I still played it through, and that's already something imo

Pretty fun game, but kinda pointless and a bit confusing, I got 0-3-0 stars and still won, lmao, but still a fun experience nonetheless

Well, I really tried to make it as horrory as I could, though I haven't managed to make it more believable. Still it came out good enough, so yeah.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

The art is lovely, but I got stuck several times while trying to pass through trails, and voices are a bit too loud to my liking. Still pretty nice game!

Nice one, short and pretty. Loved it :D
