Yes, the last few waves levels the difficulty curve skyrockets. It's not my best design work but at least it leads to dramatic deaths as you face overwhelming odds.

I just released my new game! In Emotional Ties play as ace psychic investigator David Coyle as he is called to solve the murder of a groom at his own wedding. Use your psychic talents to pry information out of suspects and get to the bottom of this film noir style mystery.

I happened to just stumble across this game and am so exited. I am a fan of the game Hoplike and you guys have done a great job at taking what that game started and really bumping it up to the next level.

I think like it would feel better if you could move while in magnet throwing mode. It seems clunky to get locked in place every time I throw a magnet. I was playing with mouse and keyboard, with a controller it might seem more natural to be stopped.

Oh ok. You might try using some invincibility frames when you get hurt. you could deactivate the player's damageable collider for a few seconds while a impulse force is applied to push the player back in an arc. This would ensure that you did not get hit multiple times for a single mistake and prevent teleportation problems.

This is really interesting and a cool idea, you are balancing arcade space game with simulated gravity in a fun way. I feel like some sort of HUD showing you where you are relative to the planet and fuel station would be useful.

I like your pencil sketch cover, it is really cute. And the game is fun, however the respawn mechanic is broken. when hit near a wall I would often respawn inside the wall and have to restart the game. Also spawning happens so quick and none of the enemy positions are reset so I would get hit again immediately after spawning.

Hey great job doing this in only a week. I would love to see what you could do if you spent more time on a game.

I would love to play this game it looks interesting, but I am stuck at the beginning and don't know what to do. I can switch characters and climb up the latter but that is it.

A fun platforming prototype. I like how the cursor us rolling around instead of just sliding back and forth. It feels a little floaty and hard to control in the air though. giving the air controls faster response time when you try to go left and right might help with that as well as being able to have some control of how high your jump  is.

The art style is very nice. It almost has a pixel art painterly feel to it. I will say that the combat and movement feels a little floaty. Adding some knock-back to your attack might help your attacks feel more substantial. But this is a great start.

The start menu  comes up, but when i press the play button nothing happens.

Thank you for such nice words. To be honest I probably won't do much development of this game other then bug fixing, but I am applying everything I have learned to some new game projects. I also published a little arcade racer called "Uncontrollable Racer" that you might be interested in.
