It's in flutter so it's cross platform. if I were to do it again I'm not sure if I would keep it in flutter or unity. I've made android apps in the traditional java before and I wasn't a fan, that was a decade ago though so maybe it's gotten better.

Hey everyone! I just released Stellar Broadcast — a sci-fi colony ship roguelike inspired by Seedship, but with a lot more depth.

You're the AI of humanity's last colony ship, drifting through uncharted space. Scan procedural planets, survive 100+ narrative events, solve alien puzzles, and decide where civilization makes its last stand.
What makes it different from Seedship:
- Interactive alien puzzles (spectral analysis, constellation mapping, crystalline decoding)
- 8 ship systems that degrade as you travel
- Planet names generated by an on-device neural network
- Original ambient soundtrack with reactive sound effects
- Detailed voyage logs with shareable seed codes
- Google Play leaderboards and daily challenge mode
- 20 languages
- Multiple ending tiers from Utopia to Extinction
Free on Android with an optional one-time premium to remove ads. No subscriptions, no internet required.
