Update (Aug 17): Still not appearing in search as of today. Meanwhile the project is very much alive — we just shipped v1.3.0 with full mobile support: https://fatihnecdet.itch.io/solo-tale/devlog/1631335/v130-solo-tale-is-now-mobile-play-it-on-your-phone

So it'd be great to get indexing sorted for the players trying to find the game. I've also emailed support@itch.io (Aug 16) — happy to provide any additional info if needed.

Thanks! The simulations have honestly been half the fun of building it — every skill in the current version went through a few thousand simulated fights before the numbers stuck. If you give it a run, I'd love to hear which skill felt strongest (or most useless) in practice — that kind of feedback is exactly what the beta is for. 🎲

Hi Hugh, thanks so much — really glad you enjoyed it!

The current soundtrack is licensed CC-BY stock music (credited in the game), so original music is definitely something I think about for the future. Right now I'm deep in balancing and content for the beta, so I'm not ready to take on audio changes just yet — but I really appreciate the offer, and I've bookmarked your site (nice work on Never Second In Rome, by the way).

I'll keep you in mind when the game gets closer to a proper release. Thanks again for playing and for reaching out!

Hi everyone!

I've just released the beta of Solo Tale, a dice-allocation roguelike that runs entirely in your browser — no download needed.

🎲 Play here: https://fatihnecdet.itch.io/solo-tale

Every turn you roll 3 dice and split them between attack, defense and your skill slot — each turn is a small puzzle. Explore a fantasy world tile by tile, fight through 5 regions, 18 enemy types and 6 bosses, and try to complete your run. Death is permanent; preparation is everything.

Highlights:

- 8 skills, each with its own identity: stone-hard stances, armor-piercing executions, twin-blade poisons, luck-fueled healing

- Weapons that change how you play: twin daggers roll an extra d4, a greataxe upgrades a die to d8, a golem fist can stun

- 32 items, potions, and a merciless economy

- Permadeath — but victory saves your hero for the next world

- Full English and Turkish interface

The game just got its biggest update yet (v1.1.0 — The Skill Overhaul), and I'm actively balancing it with simulations. It's free (donations welcome). Balance feedback is what I need most right now — if a fight feels unfair or a skill feels useless, I want to hear about it!

Thanks for reading, and enjoy the run.
