Alright so I located the problem that being I'm a dumbass and forgot that I have button on my controllers and not just triggers. The description had led me to believe that the triggers were how you used it but it is my fault for not actually testing with buttons before making a comment. Thank you for your quick response.

I bought the steam version of this and the skip function you talk about here doesn't seem to work. I'm playing on quest 2 using a link cable if that helps at all.
