I bought the steam version of this and the skip function you talk about here doesn't seem to work. I'm playing on quest 2 using a link cable if that helps at all.

I tested the same with the Link function of Quest2 and it works.
The skip function is for NPCs to cancel actions while they are in the middle of some action, and it does not work except during the action.
Can't skip an action?
If the action cannot be skipped.
Instead, a sound is emitted from the remote control, but does it make a sound?
If not, there may be a problem with the operation input.
Alright so I located the problem that being I'm a dumbass and forgot that I have button on my controllers and not just triggers. The description had led me to believe that the triggers were how you used it but it is my fault for not actually testing with buttons before making a comment. Thank you for your quick response.
