Thanks a lot for playing and rating my game!

I agree it can be annoying to wait long for retrying. Actually, you can triple tap or long press R for a quick retry, but I forgot to include that in the help page.

For level 4, the only reason that you feel its RNG dependent is that probably your solution is not the intended one. The intended solution is to first flush the duck into the pit with large water, then after all flow settled you start to burn the plank. The order of these operations is important.

I just need 2 more rates to get to the median. I really appreciate it if you can give it a rate!

The game is downloadable. It runs on Windows(and Linux too), hopefully your Crossover emulation can run it.

Tgis is a puzzle game, some level can be somehow difficult

I've rated your game at the very beginning, like 20 days ago I found you game in my queue. I really liked the foggy atmosphere in your game!

Please try and rate my game, thanks: https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2025/rate/4059522

Please try my game! Both Windows & Linux are supported!

Just shared the game with every of my close friends. This is true art!

One of the best entries I found in the jam! A little thing is that there is a bug that player some times can suck in walls.

A real work of art. Had lots of fun.

The BGM is a bit noisy, TBH

Great! Very fun game. The AI is not very clever though.

Firefox: cannot establish connection to wss://0.peerjs.com/peerjs?key=peerjs&id=G211_wave_morph&token=rnrxcfv40rf&version=1.5.5 .I've refreshed a few times and got the same error every time. Any ideas? Is that my network problem or is that a problem with your server?

https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2025/rate/4059522 here is my game. It's only ~7MB, you can play it on Windows / Linux.

I'll review yours once I cleared the queue.

Well done for a first-project. Very challenging too. I think it can reflect the wave theme better if you pause the bullet spawn once a few seconds (wave gap), instead of spawning them uniformly.

I have polished it further and added 2 new levels! Just published the final game jam version: 0.4!
Give it a try (it's only 7MB): https://fang-erj.itch.io/waveforge

Hi fellow jammer friends! I’m thrilled to share my 0.3a preview build of Waveforge: a 2D puzzle game where you can manipulate water waves and emergent physical phenomena!

Set within a meticulously crafted pixel-art physics world reminiscent of Noita, the game invites players to experience uniquely engaging physical interactions to guide a rubber duck to the goal. Featuring 10+ thoughtfully designed levels, the game delivers about 1 hour of delightfully challenging puzzle-solving gameplay.

👉 Dive into the waves now: https://fang-erj.itch.io/waveforge

I'm eager for your feedback on the mechanics and overall fun factor. Let me know how long did it takes you beat it.

I think the enemy is overall too weak. Especially the boss.

Thanks for reaching out, however, we already have someone working on music & sound.

Hi! I'm working on Waveforge for the Game Off, a 2D platformer where you manipulate water waves and physics to guide a rubber duck to its goal. It's set in a pixel-based world with a custom physics simulation, inspired by games like Noita.

I have a solid proof-of-concept built in C++ with SFML. The core sandbox is working, and now I need help to turn it into a full game!

Repo: https://github.com/szdytom/waveforge

LOOKING FOR:

- C++ Programmer: To help dive into the physics simulation, implement wave mechanics, and build out levels. Comfort with modern C++ and CMake is key. Experience with game programming or SFML is a plus (not necessary)

- Pixel Artist: To bring the world to life! I'm looking for a pro to create a cohesive style, tiles, and animations.

If you're into technical challenges or want to define the visual style of a unique physics game, DM me on Discord @fang_erj or email me at szdytom[at]qq.com.
