Hi! I'm working on Waveforge for the Game Off, a 2D platformer where you manipulate water waves and physics to guide a rubber duck to its goal. It's set in a pixel-based world with a custom physics simulation, inspired by games like Noita.

I have a solid proof-of-concept built in C++ with SFML. The core sandbox is working, and now I need help to turn it into a full game!

Repo: https://github.com/szdytom/waveforge

LOOKING FOR:

- C++ Programmer: To help dive into the physics simulation, implement wave mechanics, and build out levels. Comfort with modern C++ and CMake is key. Experience with game programming or SFML is a plus (not necessary)

- Pixel Artist: To bring the world to life! I'm looking for a pro to create a cohesive style, tiles, and animations.

If you're into technical challenges or want to define the visual style of a unique physics game, DM me on Discord @fang_erj or email me at szdytom[at]qq.com.

Hello, do you need sound design for this game?
