The intro was funny (good luck in the next jam!)

Very cute little game that for some reason makes me stressful.
The story seemed interesting (too bad it wasn't finished), the art is really cool, the music is fitting.
Gameplay wise i think it does the job pretty well on what it wants to do. I think the levels feel a little long but it was fun to play and optimize each table route.
Minor nitpick, i wish the "this game ends here" image of the joms was a little more clear, i played the game 2 times cause i thought i made a mistake.
Other than that, very solid game, even if incompleted.
Whoever designed the running enemies i hope you step on a lego.
I feel like the point was to just make me suffer but still having hope that i could resist more. It goes hard pretty fast but you feel like you have a chance with the healing.
There are some minor issues with the hitbox of the enemies and the objects you have to pick up (i dont know if its intentional that is really hard to get them) but i did have fun trying to survive, i think it does a pretty good job in that regard.
If there was a "best gameplay" category this would have gotten my vote.
I'm not well verse on the sokoban games but i thought this game was pretty unique and i could have seen myself playing this more if it was a full release. It is very fun to play with interesting challenges and with new ideas every few levels that make the whole experience very fresh.
And at first i was like "ok but where is the category relate", but after seeing the last level, i can't believe the category comes from creating a game just to prove a point, absolutely gigachad energy.
Very good game, the baba is you of jads game jams.
Very fun game.
The music was really fitting and nice, the different options that the game had were fun to do, its was nice to try doing a better run each time optimizing what you do was fun. I didn't get to try every ingredient as a weapon cause once you get the boss one i would just use that forever (there may be a better one) but on the first runs the progression was fun.
My only criticism is that sometimes the controllers fell a little weird, mostly the change ingredients / throw, but nothing that really detriments the experience.
But apart from that is a very solid game to do runs of for a better score.
Very cool artstyle, funny and interesting retelling of the chaos that was the voting game (rip yakuza gang). This was a nice throwback to that era.
The minigames were nice, maybe the main one being a little to forgiving, but i think for what the game tried to do, which was just representing the voting game, it made a perfect job doing it.
This must be the hardest game in the jam.
I really tried to beat it, i put like, 2-3 hours into it, but it was just impossible to me.
The patterns get so hard sometimes that my slow reaction was just not enough for this game.
I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing for the team. I did have fun at the start but i think trying to beat the game and not being able to made me a little frustrated. I may feel is because of the low points you get which one you reach 50% makes each level super hard, and the randomness of winning may cause you frustration.
I'm not a weeb so a lot of the animes shown escape me (except for some, which was funny for the most part).
So mixed feelings with this one overall but i do appreciate the uniqueness of the game.
I must preface by saying, i'm not much into adventure games.
I'm very bad at understanding what the game wants from me, even if its generally obvious, so i get kind of frustrated when playing the games.
Having said that, i think the overall experience of this game was pretty good, when the things click with the items is very funny, and for the most part it doesn't have many points where it hard to guess what you have to do.
The artstyle is charming which i think helps a lot with these kind of games, it gives a cool vibe to it.
My only real criticism to the game, is the infamous exam where you have to know the stuff otherwise you are obligated to do a guessing game, that even if its not that long, it does feels a little bad to play.
In any case, i think for a jam this game was very well polish and fun adventure game.
Very fun undertale gameplay like game (is this a genre)
It has a lot of variety of attacks in each of the bosses, and it gets very fun once the second phases start, the choose dialogue mechanic was an interesting addition to the combat system. Not to mention, its funny to read if you know the stuff it references.
The artstyle and music are fantastic, not much to say about this.
I do have some things that i wish were more clear inside the game. The bat vs knife battle was really hard to get what was the right choice imo, which made the fight too long. Also i think adding something to the end of the battle that tells you you won would have been good (there are very minor stuff that clarify you about it but i think something more direct was necessary)
It's overall a great experience that i wish it had more to it cause it was fun to play.
What an awesome game
Cool UI / area design, funny artstyle, its a very cool looking game, very realistic jads messages too.
The gameplay was pretty great in combination with the bosses mechanics, most of the bosses had cool gimmicks that utilize the movement pretty well and made the overall experience awesome, i would play more jads related bosses like these.
Very minor things that come from a jam entry (bugs and qols).
Congrats to the team this was my favorite game in the jam, which it hasn't have anything to do with me being megaman pilled surely.
