Ah that makes sense! Maybe I missed it in the voice acting but I think explicitly saying “Win and maybe I’ll bring you back to your mortal body to live out the rest of your silly little life” or something like that (I think you probably did say that I just didn’t comprehend it lol).

And the pressure is real and I can sympathize! Congrats on creating something awesome for the jam, despite the bugs and all that which everyone is guilty of, it’s very impressive what you have built in such a short time and you should be proud!

Think you figured it out but it was right after the start, top left of the first “roof” part in the starting area.

I think if you’re not already, for this type of level you want to use a tilemap, you can setup your tilemap resource with a physics layer and define a shape for the tile (just presumably a square over the whole tile) then you can just paint your level. Then your collisions will be consistent all the time! Also makes making a level much easier since you can just paint with the tiles on a grid!

This was really cute! Ran into a crash after letting it sit for a minute and trying to buy a bunch of stuff: image.png

I really loved all the mini games but also they go away with the auto clicker so maybe there is a solution to keep some of the minigame flavor without completely disabling it when you get autoclicker?

Loved this concept! So simple and well executed! Would love for the level to start on it’s own and for the photo to automatically get taken once you find them all! This would be such a great free or $.90 cozy game on steam! Finish it!!

Thanks for playing!! Going to check out your submission as well after I click post!

I think there is some bugs with pressing too many buttons at once and losing extra cubes per space. I lost on the first level, somehow had 1 too little. I think it would be cool if you could go back over the spaces you have already been and pick your cube back up, or perhaps leave more than one on a space and pick them back up later, and being smaller had some kind of benefit, that way you have a lot more flexibility for puzzles. What you have right now feels very much like just a “moves” limit, like you could have achieved the same effect with a counter at the top right. I like the idea of a character that morphs and changes as you play him, that’s a neat idea!

Cute little platformer!

I stopped playing when I got to the 4th or 5th level, lost and then it reset me all the way to the beginning. Would love some more bounciness feedback on what switches are activating what but overall cute and fun little platformer!

I couldn’t draw any cards or place bets on multiple spots like normal roulette, I also didn’t quite understand the intro relation to the roulette? The super loud ending was fun for my ears.

Overall, I think it’s a great base but I think there is some work to do, I like the idea of spending time instead of money but it wasn’t really clear how much I was spending since I’d have to convert seconds to minutes and seconds in my head which got hard at higher numbers and there wasn’t a lot of feedback as to what I was betting on, that said, cute little minigame, impressive work for a few days!

I couldn’t see how much time I had so that made things a bit difficult, I also fell through some floors and the collision didn’t match the visuals. It also seemed like I could jump more than 1 extra time in the air if I touched the wall - if I was against the wall and pressed space I would get +2 jumps so if I spammed that it seemed like I could fly? Maybe I’m mistaken there but something was a little bit bugged there.

Great first game, keep at it! :)

I couldn't aim, it would only wiggle back and forth, not point at the mouse. Unsure what's going on. Other than that, the polish was great, art style was good, and the audio was great!

Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The bug you experienced, does it happen when they haven't been matched yet they can't be selected near the altar?
