I believe I play as a student in a high school that's not normal. I then meet up with my teacher who seems to be the personification of math. I'm a bit confused by the narrative, to be frank, and the story did feel cut short. But with a bit more refinement I'm sure there is a cool concept to explore!
Kyoya seems to be a relatable character. His days felt true to the customer service experience, lol. You captured the cycle of everyday life well and the small iterations helped keep it engaging. I would love to see what happens next to him. This feels like a prelude and I can't help but want more. However, I know that's a work in progress, and I can't wait to see the finished project.
I got the ending where I woke up. It felt tragic. I fought hard to escape the grips of the shadow only to end up in a worse state. Unfortunately, that's how it goes. The prose was well done. The banter between the player and the shadow was fun to read. Plus the few visuals gave off a dreamy vibe that added nicely to the game.
This is super sweet. I love the optimistic message and the idea of finding joy everywhere. I don't really know what else to say narratively. You're a good writer and your ideas a strong. I think the addition of sound would be super beneficial. Especially in establishing where the player is in the story. I can't say much else besides you did a great job!
This was really well done! The atmosphere you created drew me in. You clearly put a lot of care into creating the enviroment and that show. I felt like I was exploring the church, and rummaging through the writtings of a madman. You seem to have a peachant for religous horror and I urge you to explore it. The only criticism I can really give is that occasionally the tenses didn't line up. Other than that I would love to see this in a more fleshed out form, like a point and click adventure!
This is a cool concept, and I like the real-world elements at the end. With a bit more work, this could be an interesting piece of speculative fiction. I think if the computer was more fleshed out and described the pain of the quantum state, the player would feel more invested in the story. Overall, I think this is an interesting idea and I'd love to see where it goes.
I play as a store owner working through the apocalypse. I got the ending where I closed up shop and went to go find my parents. The game was super well made and I liked how there were subtle changes with each choice I made as the days continued. Even though the images were placeholders the images worked well for building up the environment you were in, and the fish ones made me laugh.
I play as someone lost at sea. I seem to be searching for a friend. The visual worked really well for the game. I feel like they created this hazy feeling you get when looking at things through the water. I just wish there were a couple more endings or options as I felt a bit rail-roaded. Especially since there was only one end.
I play as a new hire with a strange boss who tries to befriend you. In the end, I get abducted and burned alive by the cult he was in. The audio did add to the story, but it would have been nice if there was a heads-up because I got blasted by the sound. Overall, the game worked well and I don't have any other comments.
I play as Lia, a 10-year-old girl who just moved to Longyearbyen. Her parents are trying to stop a virus that is causing crop failure. The ending I got was Lia drawing a poster for a bake sale. The game is well done. There wasn't anything hindering my playthrough. The final image of the poster was a nice touch too.
I play an unnamed protagonist who goes on a date with a vampire named Sybil. In the end, I get Sybil to like me and they make me their pet. not the worst ending to be fair. I really enjoyed this game too! the writing was well done and painted a vivid picture of the date. Furthermore, the background music and art helped elevate the story. Well done!
I play as a little guy trying to find food in a human house. unfortunately, I end up becoming food for the humans instead. The experience was well done and the writing created a strong atmosphere. However, the repeated audio loop was a bit grating. While I'm not the biggest fan of gore, the art was well done and the ending gif, in a dark way, was funny.
This is such a fun concept. I really enjoy apocalyptic media so this definitely resonated with me. I got the ending where I hid in the coffee shop, which didn't quite feel complete. Did I make it out alive or not? I'd like to learn what happens next. Personally, some of the prose felt a bit superfluous, but that all comes down to your own taste.
