I'm Faerin, an indie adult game creator, and I have just released my newest game Mystwood Manor!

In Mystwood Manor you play as a young adult who finds himself in charge of a very old and mysterious hotel, due to some “unexpected” events.

I'm Faerin, the developer of Mystwood Manor and Man of the House.
Mystwood Manor has recently released on Steam, and several of my users asked me to make it available here as well (mainy German users, who are blocked on Steam).

1. Q: Does Faerin have a website?
   A: Yes, it's https://www.faeringames.com/
   
2. Q: Which platforms are supported?
   A:  Windows 7 SP1+ is supported and MacOS 12.12+.
3. Q: Is there an Android version?
   A: No (and at this moment I am not planning on releasing one).
4. Q: Is there a Linux version?
   A: No (and at this moment I am not planning on releasing one), however you can run MwM through Wine. 
   
   Troubleshooting 
5.  Q: Why doesn’t the game start/why do I get a black screen?
   A1: Make sure you have properly installed MwM and that no files are missing/incomplete.
   A2: Make sure your anti-virus software is not blocking “Mystwood Manor.exe”.
   A3: If you are using a Windows version older than Windows 10, you may need vcruntime14 (VS 2015 C++ Redistributable) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 (This has to be installed before VS 2017 Redistributable to work).
   A4: If you have the Citrix client/Adblocker Ultimate/Nahimic installed, (temporarily) uninstalling it should fix this.
6. Q: Why does the game crash?
   A: Sometimes other software may cause conflicts, check the Windows Event Viewer for crash logs and try disabling/uninstalling the conflicting software. 
7.  Q: Why do I get “Failed to load mono”, when I try to run the game?
   A: This is caused when some of the game files are missing or incomplete. Make sure you have not deleted any files from the game directory, try reinstalling if the problem persists. 
8.  Q: Why do I get “Couldn’t switch to requested monitor resolution”, when I try to run the game?
   A1: Try disabling “Full-screen optimization: Right-click “Mystwood Manor.exe” -> properties-> Compatibility.
   A2: Try setting your screen to a lower resolution: Right-click Windows desktop -> Display Settings -> Resolution.
   A3: Make sure you have updated the driver for your graphics card. 
9.  Q: Why don’t the animations play?
   A1: Make sure you have updated the driver for your graphics card.
   A2: In case you have multiple graphics cards installed, try disabling all but one: Configuration screen -> Device Manager -> Display adapters -> Right-click -> Disable.
   Q: Why can’t I save/load the game?
   A: Make sure you have installed MwM in a directory with write permission and that you are not playing directly from the zip archive.
10. Q: Where can I find my savegames?
    A: They are stored in the profile folder. To transfer your saves between updates, just copy this folder from the previous version to the new one. 
11.  Q: Why are there black bars on the side/top of my screen? A: MwM is optimized for a 16:9 screen ratio, you are probably using a different screen ratio.
12. Q: Why does my anti-virus software reports there is a virus?
    A: This is a false positive, you can safely run MwM, there are no virusses.
13. Q: Why does my game crash during animated scenes?
    A: Check the windows event log, there's probaby a software conflict/error there.
    
    Known issues: If you are running any ASUS software (Aegis III or Sonic Studio 2), try turning it off. (SS2OSD.dll can cause conflicts).
