Got me hooked on the first round when I got the sequence only with a level 2 weight but then this game tormented me the next prestige when I had to max out the weight and use 2 dice >:I

I still liked the game and thought it was creative and fit the jam :)

Nice and cohesive art style! This was oddly relaxing despite being under time pressure. The music was nice but some sound effects would have gone a long way in improving this.

Thanks for taking the time to try out the game! I can see why your first instinct would be trying to defeat the enemies, but you can only try to slow them down to avoid getting hit while zipping past them to escape ;)
The bullets don't go exactly where ther cursor is pointed, but rather to a blue laser that roughly follows it.

Thank you for playing! I agree that closing the game every time on a loss wasn't the best choice, it was supposed to be a "temporary" feature while testing

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)
Obscuring details (including the lack of details) from the camera was intentional as I wanted to create a dark an opressive atmosphere while using as little assets as possible. I tried to make the doors distinguishable with emissive yellow bars but I think they could have used more distinctive elements and maybe actual lights to guide the player. I also wanted to add a UI element to show when the player was in the door interaction zone but didn't have time to make it good.

The player animations are amazing! The movement and melee combat are very fluid, I especially like the ULTRAKILL-esque slide jump. I just wish this game didn't have motion blur. Sadly the blood draining mechanic that was described doesn't seem to work so I don't see how this fits the theme of the jam :(

Very simple but creative, and difficult too!

The premise was very interesting and I really liked the artwork. The sense of urgency in the beginning was great since I had to figure out what to do while having the commander scream at you from the phone. However I think the 10 minute timer was too long and you can really take almost as long as you need translating the message.

Translating the message was fun but I would have liked to see additional outcomes based on how well you did. It would have been nice to have a failure state where you either misinterpret the message or run out of time and the commander gets trigger happy. I tried to see if there was a game over state by having the timer run out but the screen just turned black and I was still able to answer phone calls from the commander.

But don't get me wrong I still liked the game and it fit the theme of the jam!

Thank you for playing and giving feedback! I'll add a quick guide on the mechanics of the game on the page. I agree that the shooting is a bit janky...

Thanks! The shooting mechanics could definitely be improved...
