Hi, you can refer to me as Jak, that's probably more convenient. I'm a speculative fiction story writer and narrative designer from Bangladesh. I first got interested in pursuing writing after I ended up reading entries for items in Farcry 3, in which CIA Agent Willis Huntley would try to explain or give crazy but not so implausible explanation on how a gun or person got to the Rook Island or be talking completely out of his ass.
I've been writing short stories for the past few years and managed to get some published in magazines, and for the the past year and half, I have been involved with writing for various game projects in development.
And I'm done with my current game writing obligations and I'm looking to offer my help in contributing to any projects that might want it and i can get straight to work writing. Whether that be a small scale narrative project, as part of a game jam team, or a long term project that could use a extra pair of eyes on the script and lore bible.
- My speciality is in writing horror, thriller, mystery, military, science fiction and urban fantasy but I'm open to writing in genre. Though I will require payment if it's NSFW stuff .
- I am knowledgeable in writing screenplays for films, games and comics. I have done some uncredited work, editing screenplays for local film and comic writers, as well as writing scripts for video game projects.
- Open to working with you on plot outlines, writing the story, dialogue, cutscenes, brainstorming lore, story feedback and revision.
