Looks good for the most part, MaryOfficePlaying05_composite in 0000111, MaryOfficePlaying06_composite in 0000011, MaryOfficePlaying07_composite in 0000001 all look really grainy and washed out, they really stick out like a sore thumb when they pop up in the composite image. Other than that, everything looked good. Hopefully the reinstall process goes quick and painlessly.
"Wait... you guys render in minutes?" Yeah... my rig isn't that beefy and renders themselves usually take an hour or two for what I usually make. I'm sure I can get it to make the renders faster if I tweaked settings, but as long as I can make a render a day, I'm usually happy. That being said, my current scenes have been going much faster when it's just two characters, a small set and a backdrop instead of a full-blown set.
... I may have a problem with letting perfect be the enemy of good ("Too hot for Itch.io" when, Stripe? :p)
Interesting idea, it would certainly be a different take on what's been done so far. And you're saying there's something wrong with trying to work with... uh... *checks the render that made me swear off large group scenes* 21 characters in a single scene?
Actually, if I'm being honest, my computer doesn't seem to struggle that much the more people there are in a scene if I'm only moving one or a few at a time, it's some of the hair styles or environments that really makes it chug. My computer does NOT like the pixie cut.
No rush, I was just curious. I'm really not one to be demanding people hurry, lord only knows I've done zero work on the one I said I was going to make since the initial post, because I've been spending all my free computer time making renders for the game I'm working on. Over 100 renders for the next update, and I'm still not done... I really should have cut this update in half...
I will take your suggestions under advisement. I won't change the tags yet, but I'll adjust them when I'm ready to release the next bit. And I'll keep the lgbt tag off then, the way itch.io described it made it seem easy to abuse. Because this is just the prologue, and the story proper is set in modern times, I left off any setting tags for this release.
That's... a good question. If you mean itch.io tags, nsfw (which I've now added, because I'm an idiot), maaaaybe monster girls (Do Fae Folk count as monster girls?), maybe LGBT depending on how I feel (there are characters I plan on being bi or lesbians, but I don't know if they count in this case or if it will necessarily come up when I write the scenes involving them. I don't want to have two background women kiss and go "Look! Lesbians! I can say it has LGBT now!"). Itch.io has a lot of tags and they're not exactly the easiest to see definitions for.
As far as standard sexual "tags" go... well, okay, I may have to see what itch.io rules say I can post in comments before I start typing those.
