Looking for Teammates — Art, Story, Voice
Mountain & Omelette is a medieval real-time tactics game where you command soldiers, build a settlement on a mountainside, and defend it against waves of enemies. It's built in GameMaker and has been a solo project so far.
What exists right now:
- Soldier commands with formations, melee combat, ranged artillery
- Building system with upgradable structures and garrisons
- Dialogue system with branching choices, dice rolls, and skill checks
- Quest system
- Crafting and inventory
- Wave-based enemy defense
- Full debug tooling for rapid iteration
What I'm looking for:
- Pixel artist / animator — Character sprites, buildings, effects, UI. The gameplay works but the art is placeholder. This is the biggest need.
- Story / narrative designer — Quest writing, dialogue, world-building. The systems are ready for content — branching dialogue, dice checks, resource costs and rewards all work.
- Voice actors — If you'd like to give characters some personality, even small contributions would go a long way.
- Marketing / community manager — Someone who can help get the word out, manage social media, build a community around the game. The game is getting to a point where it needs visibility.
The honest part: There's no funding right now. If it gets to a sellable state, the plan is marketing in Steam with revenue share. So this is for people who see something they like and want to help shape it, not a paid gig.
What I'm also happy with: If you just think this looks cool and want to follow along or give feedback as it develops, that's great too. Not everyone needs to commit , sometimes just having people who care about the project makes a difference.

Hi Sofia! I am currently working on a side-scrolling fantasy themed strategy game called A Mountan That Never Shuts Up. - The title is giving a hint of it's comedic approach.
