The game is surprisingly addictive, and I love that it has an ending (which by the way is quite fun and even sweet). The only thing missing if you wanted to make a more complete version would be some hook modifiers that have more visual and noticeable effects (something like the tear modifiers from The Binding of Isaac). But obviously there probably wasn't enough time due to the deadline, otherwise I think it's one of the games that has entertained me the most out of all the ones I've tried, good job! :D
Thank you so much! That's a relief, I was afraid that because of my terrible pronunciation, nothing in the tutorial would be understood, but it seems that at least it's somewhat understandable XD. And yes, my musician is amazing, if you want, check out his Newgrounds page, the link is in the game description. Thank you again for playing the game :D
I really enjoyed the game; its greatest strength is its beautiful graphics. Although I have to say I was also surprised by the considerable diversity of monsters, which, along with their spawning in, I think, random locations, means it doesn't become repetitive as quickly as in other games. I can't think of much to criticize; maybe there are a few minor issues, but considering the time limit we had, it's a miracle this game is so functional and entertaining. Keep up the good work! :D
Thank you so much! And "StixDevs" (the musician of this game) has so much talent, If you want, you can visit his NewGrounds through this link: https://stixdevs.newgrounds.com (I'm just saying :P)
Okay, I absolutely loved the idea, (Spoilers ahead, play it now) the twist of the world turning 90 degrees or directly upside down and that the entire level design is designed to still work is incredible! (In that sense it reminds me of Castlevania Symphony of the Night haha) Graphically I also like it a lot, I especially love the stylized way in which the trees and stages are drawn which are all lines. The only thing I would criticize is that it would be nice if you didn't have to collect all the mushrooms but rather there were more than you need in case you are unable to find them all to finish the game. (Maybe is already the case and I'm just too stupid haha) Anyway, keep up the good work!
This game is amazing!!! The mechanics are fun and it’s quite impressive technically for a Jam game, the only thing I would criticize would be that the camera is sometimes a bit annoying since the buildings cover it and in my case I think I was close to finishing the game but I was just missing one raccoon to get to the button for the highest building, so I think it would be good to add extra raccoons that aren’t necessary to finish the game but that serve so that if you’re not able to find the last ones you have others to avoid having to go around trying to find the one you’re missing. Example: If you need 15 raccoons to finish the game, there should be 18 spread around the level. (Although maybe that’s already the case and I’m just bad at searching XD) Anyway, amazing game, good job! :3
OMG Thanks a lot, I have to say the thing I regret the most is that when you increase or decrease the time beyond the maximum, your current time scale goes to the opposite maximum, since more than making everything more comfortable it makes everything more confusing but I have plans to fix it in an update. I still don't know if I should make a full game about this mini game but I do plan on improving it by adding music, some tweaks and making the level a bit bigger when the Jam is over and with that I think it will be a nice little game. :D
Thanks haha, there really should be more obstacles, but oh well, maybe I can add some new ones in a future update when the Jam is over. As for the final puzzle of rewinding time to get out of the hole where you got the key, I'm glad that several people liked it. When I was designing it, I was actually afraid that people wouldn't understand how to "solve" it, but it seems that almost everyone has understood it.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback :D
It was a really fun experience! It reminds me of the first phase of "Spore", and evolving by adding new parts to your creature is really fun. =D As an idea, I think a full version where you evolve from a puddle to become big and start devouring forests and seas until a final phase where you devour worlds could be a really fun game on steam. Kind of like a fusion between "Spore" and "Tasty Blue", but whatever, that's just an idea, great game :D
