I absolutely loved the grow/shrink mechanic—it was creative and fun to master!

The difficulty felt quite high, though; I fell into the death boxes several times before finally managing to grab the cheese. Perhaps i need a few rounds to master the level but overall, a fantastic job—well done! 🧀

Great job! Really liked the music and how the character become bigger and bigger! One quick suggestions for polish:

  1. End Score Counter: It feels a bit slow; speeding up the animation would keep the momentum high after a run.

Overall, a really fun experience—well done!

This is the most useful comment I've gotten on this game, thank you for taking the time.

The "big beats small" instinct is a real problem and it's on me, not on you — the whole game is built on that inversion and I never actually taught it anywhere. Near-dodge points is a great call too, that's exactly the risk/reward the loop is missing.

One thing I'd love your take on, since you clearly think about this stuff: do you reckon it needed a tutorial line, or would showing the inversion in the thumbnail/GIF have been enough? Trying to work out where exactly I lose people.

200+ is a solid run! Going to play Weigh-in now.

Thanks a lot, that really means a lot! Simple was exactly the goal, so I'm glad the size-swap landed. This was my first jam ever, so getting a comment like this is a big deal. Off to play yours now 🙌

Thanks so much, really glad you had fun! 🙏 Mouse control + click-to-scale is a great idea — actually one of the directions I considered early on. Might explore it if I revisit this.
And happy you noticed the audio!
Do you have an entry? Would love to play it.

Thanks Mordstar! I will hit you up if i need any custom music for any next project. Thanks!

This was an interesting little experience!

The first thing that caught my attention was the music. It has a very catchy 80s vibe that fits the game surprisingly well and helps give it personality.

I like the core idea, but I think the game could do a better job explaining its objectives. I only fully understood what I was supposed to be doing after reading the itch.io post, not while playing. At first, I just started killing monsters and assumed I had to survive until the 10-minute timer ended.

A clearer objective system, map markers, or visual guidance would help players understand the goal much faster.

Combat feels smooth enough, but the enemies rarely felt threatening and were generally easy to defeat. There are plenty of power-ups available, which is great, but I didn't always notice a significant impact from some of them. For example, I picked up fire-rate upgrades but barely felt any difference during combat.

I also think the achievements may be bugged. Several of them appeared to unlock or progress before I had actually met the requirements.

That said, it's still a fun experience for a short session. The game has a good foundation, enjoyable music, and enough variety to keep things interesting for a while.

Overall, I had a good time, so keep improving it! :)
