...On the ground

Thank you for the feedback! I aggree and now i have something to focus on in the next jam.

There is no tutorial but the images and the written instructions on the itch.io page tell you all you need (at least i hope. If not then my bad)

Btw you need to place crystals to avoid tge dark (crystals are pictured on the itch page)

I can't aggre with the compliments for ethical reasons, but i think you summarised it pretty well. Thanks for the feedback

yeah, that happens, but it's about learning i guess. By the way i never use == unless i absolutely have to, <=, => can stop a lot of edge cases from causing truble.

There are more actually. There are the two crystals and a floor tile marked with a door symbol. You can place that on the X

The darkness works based on your distance to the closest light and interpolates a charge value between 0 and 1 (0=death). I noticed this bug before but i didn't have time to fix it :/ Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks, and i aggree

Thank you, it was a lot of fun making the chanting for the game. It is actually from a Lovecraft book

Yeah, i aggree with you about the slowness. Honestly i have noticed it myself during playtesting but i didn't have enough time to add another mechanic to make it more interesting.

I find the idea really interesting, but it would need some more thought and polish in implementing. For me, the clunky movement and the lack of a solid theme takes away a lot from the promising concept. The graphics are sadly not so cohesive.

Next time i will make sure tu include a download, thank you for your feedback!

The purpose is only to explore and experience all dialogue paths with NPC-

Not implementing a clear indicator was a conscious decision to increase tension

An awesome hyper polished atmospheric game! I wouldn't mind to see some more events, but for a game jam game this is superb!

A really interesting game you have! i can't really say anything bad about it.

Nice idea, but it felt a bit standard for me, and also too random. There are not much for the player to predict. The movement is a bit slow, takes a lot of time to get from a to b.

I hope my feedback helped, check out my game below vvv!

Thanks!

Yeah, it really needs that. But it is meant to make the player optimise their routes. And the noises before the music sognal the remaining time in their frequency.

I didn't have anyone for game art, and i overscoped on the level design, this i why i had to rush it.

Thanks. Btw Solid game art and gameplay!

Can i asked how did you do the text effect in the intro?

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, i really overscoped on the level design and this also made me not have enough time to write interesting dialogues at the end. Basically i had to scrap the vast majority of the payoff part of the game. But i learned all this, so it was worth it.

Top notch puzzle design, Intuitive, challanging and fun

It reminds me of the game 12 minutes. In this short time it is able to evoke emotion in me, i feel a connection with the game. It's top 1 form me 5*!

A quite cool game concept. The only thing it would need is a bit of bias towards the dice you need to speed up a game a little. And also dragging into boxes and areas instead of selecteng would add some welcome movement to the game.

I don't understand the main mechanic, and it's not explained enough

The sound design is irritating for me and the concept is not unique enough

Has the potential of a good game, would need debugging and a snapping mechanic at the right angle when folding.

A really good concept. Using the real die instead of some ability die is really good, beacuse i can finally predict the sides of something. Although an isometric guide in the corner would still be welcome. The problem is with the balance. The die takes a lot of time to land, which wouldn't be a problem if the enemies weren't so fast. There isn't really time to shoot, even less to hink about what side to use. When you go fast, the  die bounces a lot before it finally lands.

Nice game but a but too hard and slow for me

A really good game concept, taking a spin on chess. But it's hard to impossible to get other pieces than the horse. I've encountered bugs where the player can move a piece outside their turn, then it doesn't count and pieces overlap. Also the chess ai is not the best sadly.

It is really dynamic and enjoyable. The amount of polish shows. The music is just awesome, as well as the feel of the shots. The pun with the slugs is a bonus point.

Nice game. I like the concept; could use a lot more polish

It is an awesome game, too bad it can't be in the jam. It combines roguelike with puzzle game like the Hitman series, but distills it down to predicting a dice roll. Awesome graphics and atmosphere. The sound design is just brilliant! Good work!
If you didn't get enough of the time pressure, here is mine: (although way worse than yours) https://error13660.itch.io/screechingwheels

Not adding a progress bar was a conscious decision. Because, the only indicator if the remaining time (the noise) is not so precise, you have to make more sacrifices, and it builds more pressure.

that's the point, the pressure. If you go out and explore, you find stuff here and there. The game takes "riches" a bit liberally; a brick is "riches for me". Although you can find microwaves and even gold
