On one hand i added few waypoints for the player to orientate themselves and put the instruments in different places on purpose to make the player move constantly and have to pass the blobs often without looking at them. But otherwise i totally aggree with your feedback. The game design really suffered on this project and the player feedback is much too little.

This being too much for me is maybe true but i teally want to push myself with these jams.

Thank you for the good feedback!

It was a bit hard to understand at first. One or two ingame tutorial levels would have helped a lot. And i feel that the demolish toggle is unnecessary and uncomfortable to use. But otherwise, no notes, a perfect game! Loved the difficulty, loved the art. it's polished and it's creative and fits the theme. My fav so far.

PS if you have the time, would you mind checking out my submission?

It's my bad. It should give more feedback and be more obvious. I was really tired by then and couldn't make it better

The dark things are in your way by design, the point is to avert your eyes from them and then they don't hurt you.

I might actually rework this game. The main thing that would help imo is a minimap and reworking the monsters' behaviour.
And more player feedback

Glad you liked it though

The art is incredibly good! You have a really talented artist

yes of

Happy that i could help. Hate to plug, but would you mind checking out my submission in return?

Nice little game, i liked it

Amazing game, really funny and so many mechanics! Expected no less from you! And the airplane game easter egg is nice.

Love your videos btw, you always bring such a claming atmosphere and make my mood that much better every time thank you!

Not too deep but i enjoyed the gameplay overall, it felt good.

PS If you have the time please check out a fellow space game

I love the graphics!

Ah i see. I should use affinity designer more

Yeah i understand. Sorry to hear. But i don't know what engine you used, but for example in unity you could hide the cursor and add offsets to your own cursor sprite position and implement it that way.

I really like the concept! It would be nice if there were audio or image bits too you could capture, not just text. And maybe you could piece together some story from them. It's a small thing, but it would be nice if the controls were more physicsy with acceleration and deceleration. The graphics i really liked.

PS:. I also made a game with a looping space station. I would love if you checked it out!

I quite enjoyed it! The main mechanic is a really cool one. The one thing i would have liked if the controls were a bit different and you could move in any direction. Maybe slither.io controls with the mouse?

Btw how did you do the fuzzy edges on the ui art?

Looks really nice, too bad it's download only

Yeah it turned out too hard and the gameplay should have ben refined more. That just happens when you work solo. At least i know what to improve next time

It seemed like a boring game at first. "Another programming game" But it's actually brilliant. Just make it a bit nicer looking next time

The co2 scrubber can only be turned on if there is electricity for it to run. You can check your power meter at the batteries where you start.
And you were trying the switch that says co2 scrubber next to it right?

Glad you liked the VO

Btw not saying you were wrong, it should be more intuitive

I gave the player no option to rotate to make the experience more disorienting. But otherwise i totally aggree with you on every point. At least i have a clear goal of what to improve next time. Thank you for the review!

The idea was that the player should look at the alignment, then go over to the controls in another part of the station and change the angle then repeat. But it turned out way too hard sadly. Glad you liked it!

I loved it! Pretty cool game and nicely fits the theme. I Feel the only two things letting it down are the small play area and the background. (The sprites loog nice)

(If you would like to see another space themed game check out mine: https://error13660.itch.io/6-loops I would also really appreciate it)

Really nice puzzle game! It reminds me of Baba is you and Snakebird. And quite a bit of levels too. Amazing work!

(I would love if you checked out my submission https://error13660.itch.io/6-loops)

eeee makarena

Absolutely amazing game! Love the ideas, love the controls and execution and i actually even love the visuals. Sumple but elegant.

(I would really appreciate is you checked out my game https://error13660.itch.io/6-loops)

Thank you for the review! On one hand i didn't want any UI elements taking you out of the atmosphere and also movement and checking gauges is a bug part of the game. On the other hand i totally understand and i should probably have had to look for some cleaver middle ground. The subtitles i wanted to add i just ran out of time : (

I used mouse scroll up/down as input instead of clicking to connect the motion a bit with the in game action. The interactions definitely work, but the game could definitely give feedback more times.

Nice little game and cute art style. I valued the in game tutorial!

Simple, but a nice inspirational game. Thank you, this brought me some joy
(maybe you could check out my game? if you are into the style ofc)

it's quite easy to make mouse based movement in unity. Try it later.
btw i would appreciate if you checked out my submission. ty in advance

A bit similar to monopoly innit?

Yeah. It's ok though. I've seen a lot of games in this jam already that have nothing to do with loops.
Feel free to check out my submission btw

I liked it. It's a nice novel challange. But not too loopy imo

The idea is nice, but i found the controls too sensitive and uncomfortable. Some other control scheme would sout this game much better in imo

Some more guidance would be welcome. i got lost pretty fast

A bit simple but nice little game

(1 edit)

Well this was one of the weirdest things i ever played. But it looks and sounds absolutely amazing. I would have enjoyed some real puzzles in the start drawing but it was still nice.

For a different side of space i would love if you would check out my game

Love this game, love this concept! One thing i am not sure about is bullets canceling eachother. But otherwise 10/10 simple but really fun (also i need a multiplayer of this pliiiiiz)

It's quite hard but i guess it's part of the charm. I enjoyed it overall, nice, simple and quite addictive. I can imagine tryharding this.

I would love if you checked out my game too <3
