uh... weird... try ending your shift and try the next morning?
if that doesn't work, try loading an older save if you have one and get to that point that you were, only that this time read every single dialogue near that point, maybe you missed something to do

go in the office -> press the biggest monitor on the desk -> Open PC -> shop -> Items -> Metal Bat.
if you don't have enough money, press the Money button on the pc interface a few times, if it isn't enough yet, end the shift and re-do until you have enough money to buy it.
to collect it, go outside the pizzeria and you should collect it.
