amazing, I hope this has helped you ponder the mysteries or the orb

thanks <3 and yea; we ended up realizing / acc thinking about it when it was a wee bit too late to toss in

Love the "little person" interpretation <3

Loved the environment art <3

Thanks so much <3

(You have to sneak up on him)

I think it's a fun idea and a good first try! 1 thing that can make it play a bit better that'd be easy to implement if you try this sorta game again; Instead of setting the camera to follow the player, either try setting it to follow an object that you get to stay in front of the player, or make the lerping tighter, 'cause there were times where I was almost off of the screen in the direction I was walking.

Also, the music is goofy fun <3

nj!

If you wanna try, I found this article about running unity on a chromebook.

https://medium.com/@alexanderhaskins/unity3d-is-running-natively-on-my-chromeboo...

I always use WASD with my left, but that's cause the mouse usually takes the right

Yea, that's probably my bad; I made the game for a fixed 1920x1080 'cause I didn't think about it. If you're playing the web version it should take it to full screen automatically to try and fit that size. But obv if your resolution is lower then that it won't work well. Sorry! and it's something I'll sort for future games

cute game, art, and feel; but no real gameplay

Interesting idea, but very empty. (probably would help if you found some opensource music) but I kinda love the idea if with that as an initial prototype; kinda like a fast passed Slay The Spire. (also ambitious to do a card game in 48 hrs)

(1 edit)

Interesting and fun, a bit long to get to the surprise though considering that's the theme of the jam.

Absolutley love the music (I've had it in the back for like 30 min now), I love the art too, and the game is really fun (love this sort of game and there aren't any blairing issues with it)

also; wtf, in 48hrs?
