I loved that the game seemed compressed for both scale and time when I entered the first village and castle, but all of that unfortunately went out the window with the combat, which doesn't seem compressed for neither scale nor time (in fact, it takes even longer than most early Ultima battles, which is rather weird balancing).

I loved the original games and I want to love this one, but unfortunately I'm older now and I just get a headache from the old DOS-style scrolling this game has. Is there any chance to implement a higher resolution setting which doesn't need to scroll the viewport, or a way to scroll the viewport smoother? I can't continue playing this, I'm afraid.
Would you consider adding buttons for smooth panning and zooming (like Blender)? I'm using a Linux laptop and seems trackpad gestures aren't well supported and even with the new keymap and mouse settings, I have never been able to figure out how to pan anything, so I'm a bit restricted in what I can create.
I'm trying this out again, and again had to look up how to create a cone. Just for the usability sake I would add the cone slider to the cylinder, and behind the scenes convert it to a beveled cube even though that might be a dirty hack. It's just that logically I think about a cone as being a modified cylinder, not a cube, even though in the magical maths world of SDF that might not be the case. I also haven't figured out how to lock X/Z to easy change radius for cones/cylinders. Sorry, I might have a weird brain.
EDIT: How is it possible to make an exaggerated baseball bat with the current tools? I can't figure it out... this is as far as it goes for me and it's not nearly cone shaped enough...

OMG, I can't believe I glossed over the cone slider (guess I didn't expect it there, or I was looking too hard for "taper"). Similarly, also did not realize that the inspector changed contents when I selected a layer, which is great! Now, just to double check, I see that the blending of strokes can be set to chamfer, but can the round of a stroke also be set to chamfer somehow (although I'm getting a feeling of deja vu from a previous comment writing this)...
Thank you, I had a chance to test it again and it works! If you'd like, some quick feedback:
- Would love an on-screen pan button in addition to the view rotation cube (which is rather large)
- Would love a chamfer option (hopefully also for boolean blends) for hard surface modeling
- The bevel vs round setting is confusing (to me as a beginner, they seem to do the same thing and I don't understand when to use what)
