okay, this is a long shot, but the final boss has a really distinct hexagon attack that's basically the exact same as one in Copy Kitty. was that an inspiration or just convergent design? i've never seen it anywhere else, but the shape and timing are near identical. Copy Kitty added this boss only a few years beforehand too.

the boss starts using it at about 2:30 in the video.

this game's great btw, i found it through portmaster and it was fun to play a few levels before bed each night. ❤

if it's not even giving an error message, my only guess is that maybe you're missing a prerequisite? you can try installing XNA 4.0 and see if that resolves anything. if that doesn't work then i'm not really sure what to do, if there's not an error message then there's nothing for me to work with to fix it :(

i have a blog post about it: https://entanma.com/posts/2025-06-19-GameCube_controllers_in_Sunfluffs.html

It should already work on phones, actually! Releasing it as a standalone app is a bit too over-scoped for me at the moment, but you should be able to load the page and play it just fine, since it fully supports touch controls.

Hello! I just released a little side project of mine, which generates Panel de Pon puzzles. It has a bunch of difficulty settings and some neat features like gif exports! This was super fun to work on to take a break from bigger projects.

Me and one other person have been working on this for over 7 years, and it's finally done! You play as Boki, who can copy weapons from enemies and then combine up to 3 at a time. Blast robots in cyberspace and train to be a superhero! There's tons of bosses, a level editor, and an Endless Mode that goes through a few dozen environments. I'm super proud of this, so give it a shot!
