You can just start it off at the very beginning of Act 2, since I didn't do anything important in Act 2 yet.

I'm not actually able to see where I am or what the room I am in looks like, since it still overlaps everything. Sadly, there are no options, if I can even interact with anything. I've tried finding the computer in the room again, but I haven't been able to. Although I would rather not put you through the trouble of porting a save file for me, I do actually want to play this as it was intended, rather than watching the playthrough video.

I got to the watchtower, and after interacting with the computer, the background for it got stuck on the screen, which ended up overlaying everything. I've tried reloading my save file a few times, but maybe it is something to do with my save file since it's still stuck on the screen when I load it.

The game appears to soft-lock when I attempt to fight some of the enemies in the area below the shooting range. The roar sound effect does play, if that helps.

This looks phenomenal! Although, I'm so bad at RPG's that I can't really seem to progress much of anywhere. This 100% feels underrated though, more people should see this.

It depends if you've downloaded the game or not. If you have not downloaded it, you'll need to write down the save code found in the "Manage Save Data" in the options menu on the title screen, and load it tomorrow. If you did download it, then it's a lot more simple; you just wait until tomorrow, and once you load Day 2 the light will be there. Although, it isn't required to wait until tomorrow if you do not want to. Auto Skip Wait in the options menu on the title screen disables the waiting when it is enabled.

The light is nonexistent if it's on the same day you completed a previous day. This game mechanic can be disabled via the "Auto Skip Wait" function. Thanks for trying it out though!

I've ranked the following issues I've found in terms of least problematic to most problematic (1-10). Please feel free to disagree with any of this, it's just my opinion, but I hope it helps.

-(7) I'm not sure if this is just my computer or something, but some of the controls are off key wise. R is interact, T is reset. This doesn't always seem to be the case but it does happen sometimes.

-(6) The four torches in the cave area with the coin seem to flicker between being visible and invisible as their sprites change.

-(5) Title background does not fully scale to screen size, leaving slight blank space on the top and bottom. I would give advice on how to fix this, but I have not fully figured out how to do this either. I've ranked this more problematic because it could be the difference between if someone decides to play or not.

-(4) The music does not loop on levels 1 & 2.

-(3) Occasionally, objects that can be moved are bounced back and forth between the ninja stars, sometimes resulting in the object moving towards you instead of away.

-(3) This could be related to the screen size UI scaling issue, but the plants near the bottom of the screen on the level select on the title screen are duplicated and cut off. I assume the plants are copied onto the tan background sprite as an overlay?

-(3) The time did not seem to save for level 2.

-(2) Personally, I'm fine with Fullscreen, but certain other people may not be, so a Fullscreen option in the settings could be good.

-(2) Grammar error in the title screen hint text "Find three secret chest's hidden within each level."

-(2) The audio of the jumping sound effect seems to lag behind a bit. If you move left and jump, it's on the right side of the headphones for a few seconds before it seems to slowly catch up.

-(1) It is a bit unclear at first that you are required to click the skull to delete all save data in the title screen, especially since it doesn't have an animation.

-(1) The coin count, at least for me, was a bit unclear. I thought it meant I started with 12 coins. Forgive me if this is common, I don't play platformers often.

Most of these issues are quite minor, and can likely be fixed quickly and easily, so I hope this list isn't overwhelming in any way. I did enjoy playing this game, and it's very relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for making this, I hope my feedback helps in it's development. (Feel free to delete this comment whenever, it probably takes up a lot of space)

I'll try your game, it already looks amazing and far better than what I was able to achieve just by looking at it's page. Hello! I'm newer to itch.io, and I've recently published my first "game." I am by no means a professional at this, so any feedback on my project (positive and/or negative) or just general advice would be greatly appreciated! For what the project actually is, it's my attempt at a "horror" game, in which you are placed inside of a maze and must find "the light" seven times in a week (currently, the game only has two weeks). As the days (levels) progress, the steps required to get to the light become increasingly complex along with more and more obstacles being introduced. I'm sorry but I do not think I should, since my analytics show you didn't even play DIURNALITY. (Not that you are required to do so, but if you are going to use this type of method to promote your game, I would at least give other people a chance as well)

Hello! I attempted to release my first itch.io game about a week and a half ago, and released a big update to it today. The game itself is a sort of "horror" game, in which you must find "the light" several times in a maze over the course of a week. However, as the days progress, the steps required to actually get to the light become increasingly complicated and additional obstacles are introduced. Currently, there are two weeks in the game, which adds up to 14 levels/days. If anyone's interested in trying it out and giving feedback on it (positive and/or negative), it would be greatly appreciated!
