I absolutely love this!!!!! Ive been enjoying seeing all of the rewind based puzzle games, but I am a massive portal fan and this is definitely a very good game for fans of there series. It reminds me a lot of the old "Thinking with Time Machine" portal 2 mod. I would like to say that the game definitely has so optimization issues, the game lags alot at the beginning and it crashed my browser tab a few times and I have a good pc ( 4090 64 gb ddr5) so I can only imagine what it would be like on the average pc
Pretty fun, honestly kinda annoying trying to get every bubble, but the fact you can just ignore them when you want makes up for it. What I really want to say is that I absolutely adore the art style, it looks so cool!!!! having it all be black and white and having effects like death just entirely flip the colors, along with everything being made out of smooth continuous shapes, I just love it. I would like to see a full game look like this some time, I might even try it at some point
First I just have to say that I love the title. Also I never would have thought to make a game about rewinding and time clones x3. Jokes aside it was very interesting to see how some one else tackled the same concept, the mechanics are definitely a slightly different approach to how I handled things and you guys where definitely able to make something more polished and better explained then I had time for as a solo dev. I really would have liked to see at least 1 or 2 difficult levels but as it is Id say its a pretty solid take on the concept and ill definitely be taking a look after the jam period to see if you guys make more. I know at least one of you already tried out my game so Id like to suggest you try this one out: https://itch.io/post/16785744 its another unique take on the concept we did that I think you'd be interested in if you have the time
Absolutely peak, the art style was amazing. I'm not typically a big roguelike fan but honestly the game is just super fun and feels great, love the variation with the weapons and upgrades and being able to choose your own upgrades to buy is really nice. Also making it all in python is pretty impressive.
I'm really happy to here you say that!!! I am a huge fan of Celeste and definitely took some inspiration from it, and I took a long time to make the physics just right. I'm also really glad you liked the hair physics they were difficult to make but I think they were worth it!!
About the level with the deflecting platforms, I definitely should have given them tutorial they do need some explanation, basically if yo make yourself big you can run fast but cant jump high, likewise when your small you can jump high but cant run fast. so what you have to do is turn yourself big, run up to the edge and then shirk yourself until you become tiny as your jumping, to preserve your momentum and launch yorself to the end.
Also I played your brothers game and its absolutely great, I already left a comment on his page about it but its definitely the best game I've seen all jam

simple game but definitely fun, and pretty hard for what it is.
