Hey everyone!

I am currently working on Arden: Convergence, a sci-fi survival game set 153 years in the future. I'm actively looking for an Artist, Modeler, Composer to join the project and help bring this world to life!

🪐 About the Game:

  • Genre: Sci-Fi / Survival / Crafting
  • Setting: 153 years in the future on a changing, hazardous landscape.
  • Target Price: ~$4.99 USD at launch, featuring in game purchases at a merchant for items that can benefit you long term (accessible through grinding as well)
  • Learn More & Read the Dev Logs:
  • Also: about 62ish tasks have been done, and I've been making good progress on the programming side, if anyone is more curious just DM me or reply to this thread and I'll send some videos I haven't really sent out publicly yet showcasing what's been done.

🎨 Roles I'm Looking For:

  1.  Artist: To help build environment assets, modular building structures (e.g., log kits), foliage, and tech/prop art.
  2. Composer: To make music and ambience for the game.
  3. 3D Modeler:  To make assets and all sorts of models for the game.

💼 Compensation & Project Details:

  • Structure: This is a Revenue Share (RevShare) project.
  • Split: Team members will receive 5% – 12.5% of net earnings from game sales and in-game store purchases once launched.
  • In Game Compensation: Alongside earnings from the game, you will be given up to 1 million in game cash. The in game cash is called Salvaged Metal, and works as this: Collect it from robots you destroy, it's a rare resource which isn't guaranteed to be collectable from that robot, once you collect it and find a merchant, you can buy things that will help you, such as steel, tons of wood, armor, emp's. This allows you to get into a higher status of playing field sooner and easier. You'd also be allowed to beta test every update or just play it early if that's what you'd like, alongside the salvaged metal of course.
  • A Quick Legal Note: Because I am a minor in my province, I cannot sign a non-voidable legal contract upfront without guardian involvement. However, I am fully committed to working transparently, honoring our RevShare splits, and documenting our team agreement clearly from day one.

Thanks for checking out the post!

It was a bit hard to get my surroundings at first, but I enjoyed it.

I found it a bit confusing to figure out the first level, overall a decent experience and a fun idea for the theme.

God, if I ever tried launching a rocket I'd get killed. I really enjoyed this game, and it was incredibly fun. I really suck at it though!

Got really confused trying to figure it out, would recommend having added a tutorial or something that explains it better in the game.

The player feels hard to use and navigate with. That's really my only critique. This game was overall pretty decent and a cool idea.

I understand the last level is hard, and just so everyone knows. I wanted it to be a bit of a challenge where you had to put your skill from the previous levels and really work on the last one, but after playing it to the end a couple times I realized it may be a bit too hard, if this does end up going well though I will add a bunch more features and make this a polished game for steam.

It'd most likely do good on steam, although I'd recommend advertising it first to see how much interest there is beforehand so you don't waste a lot of money on being able to upload steam games.

Really appreciate you making the music!

I apologize for the experience and how it was hard to learn at first.

I spent a LOT of time fixing networking bugs and I had almost no time to actually play test so some bugs slipped through that I tried fixing last minute.

I will most likely continue this game post jam and make it better as I agree with what you had said.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks! I am glad you enjoyed it.

The music is really good, the game itself also I really liked, the concept of it was really fun, I loved the graphics and the level design. I just feel like some levels were a bit easier then some sooner levels.

This game was very fun to play, although it did feel limiting and felt as if there could be more for the time in the game jam, I did enjoy it although!

I liked playing this a lot, it was very creative and interesting, and by far one of the best games I've played this jam! I feel like if there was more movement abilities this would be a lot more fun, perhaps being able to swing on clouds like those mobile games you'd see ad's for all the time.

It's fixed! Just read bugs list so you know how to avoid specific things.

Multiplayer is fixed, please read bugs list on the game page if you run into a weird bug, otherwise reply to this comment so I can fix them/figure out temporary fixes for the game jam voting period.

Would also just recommend playing in Incognito Mode, because a lot of bugs are networking/browser based which is avoided by not saving data/cookies (which incognito does)

Multiplayer is fixed. Please read the full description before complaining about bugs and rating badly, BUGS tab includes all you need to know about BUGS that will be fixed POST jam

It has gone up like 3 times now!

Echo Bullet, Neuro Space,

How did you make all the UI and coding for this in 10 minutes? I don't believe it.

Some games seem more then 10 minutes of work

or you could just rate it on the first release?

I think I did both.

This is really good..
