Hello, I am a solodev working on a dog/kennel management game called Prestige Paws.
Its going to be a small cozy dog breeding/training game where you compete in agility and different events like herding, scentwork, etc. The player has free reign over their estate (small at first), and controls a hand (think SimAnimals Wii or DS) that interacts with the dogs and environment. You can take care of, train, and breed dogs to compete in shows and win prizes.
I have all the concept art fleshed out, and I've started modeling dogs and the first kennels/map.
While I love cozy games, I'm hoping to add interesting minigames/events like Gun Dog Trials where the player hunts ducks and their dog is timed to find and retrieve them and Sled Dog Trials where the player controls a sled team to compete in events or fulfill jobs!
I've also decided the first breed every player gets is the beagle! Since they are 13-15 inches you can fit 2 to a kennel (without any upgrades), or a mother and her litter. They are a fun all around breed, low maintenance, and can participate in a variety of sports great for new players and non dog people to get into!
