Short, sweet and fun demo! I adore the character art and poses, and would have loved to play the full game (Coriander is probably my fave <3). Will keep an eye on your projects for sure.

If there's one thing I'd change about the demo, it'd be to improve the contrast of the first few intro screens where the white-ish background blends in with the text in the foreground too much for my bad eyes to be read comfortably, even with the text outline. The rest of it was perfectly readable for me though (and I realise I'm critiquing a demo from 5 years ago).

Loved it :-)
I don't want to spoil things but it's a short, quietly intense game. If you encounter text that's hard/impossible to read, just move on - it'll become clear later. I played it over a few shortish sessions to savour it for a longer time.

Thank you, that makes sense! I will say that I am satisfied with the ending I've gotten and if I don't end up seeing the others, that's fine. I appreciate you trying something a little different both in terms of gameplay and story beats.

Thank you so much! The same screenshot is now perfectly readable even for my messed up eyes. Look forward to playing the game when I get the chance <3

This looks neat, but I'm a bit concerned about readability of the text. In one of the screenshots, there is very dark pink text on semi transparent background, and that text is almost unreadable for me.
Are there options to adjust text colour/background/contrast?

Super cute, I recommend playing Rose Seed Replica <3

Minor spoilers follow! Note that I've only completed one of the endings so far, so I don't have a full picture of the game.

Things I liked:
I loved how the characters end up in a place where they don't have to work and struggle to survive, and that's portrayed in a positive light.
I enjoyed interacting with all the characters, especially Lilac!
While the game progresses in "real time", it didn't feel like I had to rush to get things done.
The particle minigame was fun.

Suggestion:
I got one of the endings (the obvious one) but because this is not a VN, it seems more daunting/time consuming to figure out how to get the other ones. It would have been lovely to have a (very brief) guide to the various endings included. So far I started a new game and tried going in different directions, but it's very hard for me to tell if I've deviated at all so far (plus I find it hard to choose options I find less appealing just to see if it changes the story).

Overall I've enjoyed Rose Seed Replica a lot. Thank you for making it!

I just found out about this now and while I understand what you're trying to do here, naming an action a "review" implies that it behaves like a "review" on other common platforms. If you're not going to consider making reviews public, then PLEASE rename "review" to "give feedback". The current wording just made me assume that devs would be notified of a review, but it would still be visibile to all.

I personally find public reviews to be very useful before I buy a game, and the ones I've seen on itch.io have been very helpful to me (as well as kind to the developer). I also left some reviews to help others out but realised only now that no one would have seen them. That is an issue - how you address it, is your decision.

I played Blackberry Honey some time after I researched and bought it and it was interesting to play through a VN not knowing if there were any choices and whether the setting was realistic or magical.

I had a great time overall! Constance was an interesting character (she certainly has room for personal growth :D) and I especially enjoyed the scenes with Theodora and Emilie.

I also appreciated reading your notes about the story afterwards. Thank you!

I liked the VN and the art is beautiful, but I stopped playing because I just couldn't take Chrys' behaviour any more.

He seems to constantly take a small action of Shay's, project the worst possible spin on it and never checking in with Shay himself about what's actually going on. He uses this to justify cussing out Shay in his thoughts and later violating his privacy. This totally took me out of enjoying their story and it also felt out of character with how he behaves with his friends and his granny.

I know a lot of people liked this VN, so your mileage may vary. Again, it's beautifully made and the voice acting was enjoyable too.

I knew from a review that I would have to make an "icky choice" (to put it non spoilery) to progress to the good endings. Still found it really hard to do but I'm glad I played on. Finished most of the good endings bar one and good some bad endings as they came.

Loved the writing, music and sex scenes! There are some places where the VA lines don't seem quite right but I loved that it was a comparatively tight, short game with a good cast of characters (both Pol and Biel were wonderful, also Nil is amazing and I kept wanting to get back together with him). Tirs is very driven and it was interesting to play a character so unlike myself.

Special thanks for the guide that's included - it made finding the endings I wanted to see a lot easier without spoiling anything.

This was a beautiful game :-) I am not generally interested in stories involving gods, but despite a lot of bickering, I loved the characters and completed a full playthrough with all routes.

Spoilery thoughts below - if you haven't played, just know that I very much recommend the game :-)

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Loved: Voice acting, art, sex scenes, the characters, the humour, how each route is tailored to the chosen love interest, secondary love stories (was so incredibly invested in I + V)

Was less a fan of:
* After choosing a route, the other love interests fade into the background and are absent for a large chunk. I really liked seeing the dynamics between all four and wanted to see them keep travelling as a group, but I also understand how this would have been a lot more effort given the branching.

* What went down in Aurelia Cavella. I felt there was way too much evil going on for Aemyl to apologise and go back to being a ruler. Especially Azuros seems pretty unforgivable, as well as just murdering people without remorse (even if Lucius was encouraging it). That was probably my major problem with the game.

* Some of the bickering felt too much (especially Cyne/Leos could be unrelentingly mean) and I felt uncomfortable with scenes where Leos gets touched when he has made it clear he doesn't like that. I did enjoy how some of the earlier tensions were resolved at least in part later on.

* Despite all the explanations, Elliot's attitude never worked for me. Given there was a credible threat to all his people, backed up by someone he knew and trusted (Veras), Elliot's continuing insistence that this was a "human problem" and it was somehow safer for his people to do nothing was hard to stomach.

I still keep thinking about the characters. I loved Cyne the most though his route was harrowing at times. In my mind, he and Raen are gonna be mostly happily polyamorous (I think it's who Cyne is, and Raen hasn't grown up with societal pressure to find the "one and only").

Thank you for a wonderful game, and even if it was a ton of work, I really, really appreciated the branching story paths and beautifully varied romance and sex scenes.

I loved this game so much! Thank you for such a great story and characters, and the varied dialogue options. Also loved the art and sound design.
Description says this already, but you get to pick your pronouns and whether you want romance options or not, which I appreciated.
