Oh nice! Can't wait to see.

Alright, I managed to do it. It's definitely not easy to do but grinding adventurers helped a lot with wracking up the money. Also, Aha/Dark Ritual/Haste makes for a very good combo once you get violet weapons. Defend also seems to work as far as filling the violet requirement it seems but it also doesn't seem to be super consistent when it wants to work. On one more related note, cooking seems to confuse the passage of time. Or at least how Rest works.

Alright. I'll give that a go then. I also don't want to be completely negative. While the day/night cycle seems to get a little out of alignment sometimes, this is definitely the most stable of your games yet. I definitely dig what you're doing with the combat in this one too with the energy stacks.

I know you said this was more gameplay focussed on Twitter but even so the lack of dialogue is definitely felt. At least from what I've played so far. You basically have 20 days to prepare for the boss rush with not a whole lot of ways to talk or interact with Slim other than tastetesting. It kinda feels like you have to figure it all out yourself with no real direction. Which is fine if that was the point. But having no real way to interact with Slim prior to the town protection events really hurts since you can't exactly level her up prior to the swarms. Which means those 7 points is all she's got. Maybe I'm just dumb though and not really thinking enough outside the box?

Good demo so far. Definitely liking the new system you've made thus far. I hope to see more soon!

Speaking of which, attempting to use apples on Dredge on the final boss screen starts the fight and using them again ends it in victory.

And I will say I can beat it with decent consistency. It's not like the fight is unbeatable or too hard. But it definitely doesn't feel like you have the most control in that fight. You just kinda have to pray the RNG works out. Also putting the final boss immediately after the last fairy bribe with no warning is a bit rough to handle. Especially if you didn't save after beating Mammon

I also have issues with the fight. It seems a touch unbalanced. It's hard but I don't think for the right reasons. Phase one is standard enough for this game's fights but phase 2 is not nearly as easy. With Jumbo Jab and Sleeping with the Fishes doing roughly 30 damage each, it's kinda RNG on whether he hits that sweetspot of hitting Sledge enough where he can soak up hits and heal while the rest of the party can keep spamming him with damage that doesn't get countered. Which would be fine enough if not for how Sleeping with the Fishes works. Gaining an additional hit per party member ko'd means you death spiral super easily. You need to have him at low HP by the time he starts killing people or he just wipes the floor with you. And if he just bullies someone that means the skill is a constant threat. And with no way to heal in this game... I mean I get what the fight is going for. It's a gut check to make sure you can adapt. But at the same time with only so many slots for orbs and needing at least a couple taken up to do damage and keep him pushed back, it's easy to call the fight not exactly fair.

The BGM for Data seems to be broken. It's missing a file from what I found.  This causes a 'Failed to load' error to continually reappear until you close and reopen the game.
