Good job, I really liked the idea that different platforms are affected by different visors. The movement of the player is cool too, and I liked the music!

I really liked this game! You did great, I love the idea of Duck + Pogo stick

Thanks for playing. I appreciate it. Yes, there are a few technical issues, and there definitely could be some better things, but my friend had some things come up, and so we ended up not having enough time to complete what we wanted to. We did upload the game approximately 20 seconds before the deadline.
We did in fact, zoom out the camera before release, so just know that it was zoomed out more than it was before. (Which you're right, it could be better to have it zoomed out more.)

For my first time genuinely trying Godot, I think it went okay.
Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you like the specific mechanics my friend chose; we had a lot of fun making it.
Exactly! The gradients of each shape were meant to bring out the design while still keeping everything simple.

"Regarding technical hiccups, I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but it seems that dying as a square in the triangle area gets me stuck. "
I haven't run into that issue, but if you send me details, I can look into fixing it. Thank you for the feedback.

As far as the square not making the jumps, it can make all necessary jumps to make it to the first swap; the trick is that you can dash up. (I probably should have let everyone know that before) But jump, then push W + Dash, and it acts as essentially a shorter double jump.

Yeah, I will probably use them as checkpoints, but I'll probably do that sometime after the Jam.

Again, thank you so much for playing!

Good job! I liked the style of the pixel art!

Great game! I loved playing it.

You just save, go to the menu, go back to the level, and you go to the area you were in. Where exactly did you get stuck? When we had our playtesters play it, we never saw anyone get stuck, so I'm just curious.
Thank you for the insight!

We just fixed a bug. By the way, if you access the menu right now, it pauses the game indefinitely. The reason was that one variable wasn't called. This should be fixed with this release: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13Dznop4SyT_0aIhYOrLF_H84WOGMlNOL?usp=sha...

Sorry about that, guys

Quite the game! I enjoyed playing. The dialogue in the beginning is nice. I didn't quite get around to it in my game, but I'm super glad you did! I definitely think the mechanics were intuitive and easy to use. Over all good job!

I liked the animations and the idea behind the mechanics. Something that I would improve if I were developing is make the blob/rock/log (Whatever it is) a little bit faster. As far as the wall jumping "special ability" thing, I could get up some walls but not others. I don't know if it's just me being bad or something else, but that's all. Great game so far! Rolling up walls is smart, and for my circle shape in my game I was actually considering something similar when prototyping my game.

I enjoyed this game, you can tell that the mechanics have really come a long way and taken a lot of time! Congrats!

Everything is super smooth, it's impressive that you made this in a month!

Feel free to leave comments!

Please feel free to comment; I'm always open to recommended improvements (:

My only comment is, why did you upload it now instead of waiting for the rest of the month and improving it?

Braaa Blaaa Blallalalaaalababalbba (Krampus does ... stuff... to naughty children) brla bla lball alblab

Love the intro sound effects

Couldn't figure out how to survive, I always died eventually...

Good job!

It was good for the time, but hey, it reminds me of the game I submitted, decent art, and good sound, It looked like you were planning a boss fight but didn't have time to keep going... Overall for the time, this is great!

I love this game! Great job, especially for the short time the jam lasted. I am curious: What was your learning path to Godot? I'm just starting Godot and eager to learn anything and everything I can. For example, how did you do the dialogue? Was it just a different layer?

I love the art style and the idea for gameplay, it is a bit hard to jump to grab the items, but other than that I think it's a great game!

Okay. I'll make sure to add that in. I though I coded so that you could use the up arrow but I can fix it. Thankyou for the feedback!

Thanks again for reviewing!

Your right. That would be a lot better.

Maybe you could change the knockback of enemies and things like that. Or change the speed of the soul.

Did you get past the tutorial? It really gets better after that.. I'm glad you like it though. Any tips to make it better?

This is a fun game. Good job.

Goodjob!

This game is really fun!

really cool game. nice job. The only thing is that I can't make it past the tutorial... maybe thats me just being bad at the game though...

So does the black screen at the beginning mean the game is loading or is that the game?

This is a cool game! The bug separation was a cool idea. Good job!

This is a cool game. I like the simplicity of it.

I like the game.

Nice! Well done!

This game is cool

It is so satisfying to sort things.

I like the swinging to cut down trees.

Good job!

In Tents is a platformer game.  Fight monsters, bosses, and destroy a demon,  get  bread, and make a tent to hide in from monsters. Upgrade swords, bullets, and armor in this amazingly simplex platformer with original music. Collect coins to buy things at a shop, and have fun! The only problem is there is no saves... good luck. https://eldragon126.itch.io/in-tents
