Hi, you need to download the game here on itch.io and include the sprites, sound and icon.ico  in the github folder. I find weird that the initial_warning from the App file was commented, I can see that in the github it's not. Cheers.

Hi, I saw your video. The problem that you have is that the game is designed for windows and you have mac so you can't run it correctly., but we have options. I saw that you downloaded the game files from git hub so you could at least run it on mac but it seems that you didn't included the game files in the game folder. I will upload a video showing how this is done and pass you the link! 

If you press alt + f4 it should close the game if you have any issues. ¿Can you hear any sound when the screen is black? If you can provide a video It would be greatly useful. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.
