i never wrote this line anywhere, so it's something you did wrong

hey there! creator of the phone system used in the game here.

i totally did not expect my framework to be used in such a big and successful game. you can't even imagine my surprise when i saw my phone in the steam trailer that i checked just because a friend told me about it

good stuff good stuff, especially the art. i don't play vns a lot. i didn't expect to be invested a lot, but i guess i ended up binging through the entire thing in just a few days jrekbsqdfejqdsfz;celsk<fd,kled

i was a bit frown-faced (idk if that's even a wordnjksfbqhdj) when i didn't see my name in the credits (not that it's mandatory)

but anyways ill go back to... uhhh... coding cool shit

the datetime module isn't included by default. you need to import it

if you get a parsing error on the `phone call` statement, then it might be because you aren't using the latest version

also, the name of the layer isn't `video_call_layer`. it's the value of the phone config variable phone.config.video_call_layer, which defaults to `phone_video_call`.

to start a video call, simply do

`phone call "character" video`

the phone will then display a layer displayable, whose name is phone.config.video_call_layer.

all you need to do is show your video on said layer:

```
show my_vid onlayer phone_video_call
phone call "character" video
"video is showing on the phone"
```

`gui.phone_zoom` in `phone_stuff.rpy`

i should probably doc these gui variables...

A complete, complex yet simple to use Ren'Py phone framework.

Ranging from text messages to phone calls, as well as a fully fletched out UI, this framework will make your visual novel look more realistic than ever.

Comes in with built-in Calendar, Call history and Text messages applications, as well as some nice on-click visual effects.
