I know I'm late, but let me leave some notes here as well~

- holy what an extensive options menu

- quite annoying that missing the planet spins the camera as well

- I see, that's immediately no concern as the autospin is more than enough to never do it yourself again^^

- though it sure does help quite a bit still much later

- nice graphics, like it a lot

- I'm a sucker for idle games, so this is great

- so much text, gets in the way of me clicking more buttons faster xD (oh, there's an auto-button as well, sweet~)

- flickering of the planet is certainly not the most visually pleasing^^

- the single use upgrades feel quite useless in the grand scheme of things

- upgrades are lagging behind when spinning manually

- is there an end goal? if there is it should be communicated clearer^^

All in all, great work all around ^w^

I know I'm late, but let me leave some notes here as well~

- there's no energy, no? felt impossible to lose as long as you keep checking in regularly

- very light on the spinning, but certainly included, all good imo

- very simple but charming art

- honestly I really don't have a lot to say about this^^;

It's finished, does the job it set out to do, solid entry^^

I know I'm late, but let me leave some notes here as well~

- feel like streamlining picking the kid up with space as well could make things simpler

- indeed a bit eerie all around with so little sounds and music, would definitely elevate things :)

- boss got done as well, nice

- maybe that's just my skill issue speaking, but it feels impossible to aim at the spinning speed you quickly reach

Overall, solid entry for sure. Honestly not much my type of game, but in general seems like a very decent base for sure :3

I know I'm late, but let me leave some notes here as well~

- fancy story and little ingame tutorial

- no smooth ending to the roll, it often just teleports into the final resting place

- warning for the final few spins would be good

- intro clearly needs a skip button for repeat play^^

- certainly lacks a bit of a goal

Overall very nice, super solid base for something proper with more time :3

(1 edit)

Hmm, a little demo level with the different mechanics being introduced one after the other could be nice? Obviously a tall order for a tiny game jam timeframe^^

"That's an enemy, can deal with them with a normale shot, a charged shot like that, oh hey you can move as well btw, you're running out of ammo, try reloading now and always keep an eye on that, oh boy that's a lot, try your teleport to save yourself, well then good luck out there"

All notes I made in order while playing:

- nice pixel assets

- proper spinning integral part of gameplay, very good

- some simple BG music would be nice

- that sure is a lot of empty space in the building^^

- the wheel spin feels useless? inconsequential? Peeps just vanish, no text, no nothing afterwards

- the quit button just broke the game xD

Lovely start for something far greater with more time imo :3

All the notes I made as they come up while playing:

- great graphics

- but the colored bars moving outside of the main bar boundaries could be polished up

- added so many ducks in bonus mode that they were falling out to the side, amazing

- I could swear sometimes I'm losing a life despite properly hitting it, happens especially if the green bar is close to the end (could very well be just skill issue as well, but it just feels more like the game's fault most of the time to me^^)

- super simple, easy to understand

- fully finished as well

- some SFX and music would be nice though

- nice implementation of the theme for sure, though maybe some form of spinning related to actual gameplay would have been nice on top

Overall super nice entry for sure :3

Thanks for playing.
Yeah, a shame things were unraveling as it became clear I was not getting this anywhere close to finished in time. Will scope much smaller next time around for sure :)

Thanks for playing.
Yep, I certainly still had plenty of items on my todo list that I just kept rushing through in the most minimal form during the last 24 hours to get anything even remotely playable done in time^^; Definitely have to scope smaller next time around :3

Indeed, took quite a break afterwards but in general I can't wait to enter another game jam and this time around have a proper finished little game (that's certainly scoped way smaller this time around so it actually gets finished and polished in time^^)..

Thanks for playing o7

Thanks for playing, those cute visuals took like the better part of 3 days (well, evenings midweek) which I did not expect that my shitty art would take this long to do. Would have been tight anyway, but as art assets spiraled completely out of control I was doomed already^^

Aye, that was my original plan but at some point playtesting I realized one would just spam the direction change and become basically invincible. And with me having completely missed the scope I could do in the end, it somehow ended at this bandaid fix for the final upload version^^

Thanks for playing, originally wanted to do a Rolling Girl endless runner but that would need the proper music and I could not get that licensed ever. But I couldn't let the general Miku idea go anymore at that point <3

I made some notes on the side as I noticed stuff :3

- kinda got serious doubts you have proper licensing to use that song in this context^^

- way too overwhelming text explaing controls, absolutely convoluted and immediately wants me to quit out and not bother with reading

- very good serious button implementation for sure

- it might very well just be skill issue, but this is way too hard for me, could barely survive for more than 1 reload, charging shots are definitely the key but the timing window... oh boy I'm not good enough to hit that even remotely consistently and not doing so is basically not recoverable from my experience

- very little spinning going on

- simple but nice graphics imo

- properly finished game, very nice, I certainly didn't manage that
