Banger presentation, havent laughed that much with any other entry so far, exactly my kind of humor :D
Its basically Monkey Ball, but better, since its with cats!
Definately contender for one of the top positions for me :)

It took me a while to figure out the gameplay loop, since im totally new to deckbuilder roguelikes (never played Slay the Spire or similar games).
But once i got the hang of it, i had a blast!
I'd only wished for 2 things: An actual tutorial (or tutorial levels) and an option to lower the music volume :D
The aestetics were off the charts, immediately fell in love with them! Music was quite nice, fit the theme well! Also, THIS is momentum. Like it fits the theme to a tee!
Unfortunately i felt that the enemies were a bit too fast. I can react and shoot them, but then i cant go for pickups or try to avoid other enemies. And sometimes they were so fast, i couldnt react and already lost a live. But maybe thats just me and a skill issue :D
Its insane to think that this was done in 9 days, it seems really, really deep!
Amazing work!
Some issues I had were:
The Bullets you shoot are really small, and somewhat slow. So consistently hitting Targets AND building Momentum was tough. The other thing is the World Map Stuff. Which seems like its very well thought out, but due to those popups, it was very stressful to try and read all of the texts. Which is a shame since i liked that part a lot, but i always felt "chased" by the next popup. Maybe a feature to "pause" would be good, so i can immerse myself more!
I can totally see where youre coming from, we had an initial camera script, which broke midway through and we didnt have the time left to fix it, so we took the properties of the Camera Node. If it werent for a Game Jam, we would have fixed it, 100%!
Regarding the levels, i wanted to have some element of: Its a (small) maze. If you are Ecto (the slime), you also dont know where to go, but i get what you mean with that!
Thanks for taking the time :)
