I'll die less dumb, hahaha. Thanks for the heads-up and the explanations ^^

Yeah, I forget every time to remove the code in my css that prevents people from dragging the text. Will change that for the next update. I'll also add a comment in my java script, because while obfuscation might not hide from experienced people, I feel less embarrassed about my code, haha
Again, sorry for biting your head off before even trying to understand where you were coming from—thinking it was an attack rather than a valid question.
Aight! Took some time to calm down—sorry for the way I reacted. I looked it up a bit on google about why it might be considered suspicious and saw that obfuscated code can sometimes be used to hide malicious stuff, so I get why it looked sketchy. That's on me for not knowing. I didn't actually think it'd be used this way, honestly. And I sure as hell ain't using an obfuscator for that purpose.
I used obfuscator.io to obfuscate my js, but if you still want the raw js code, I can share it. Dk how to do it with the link like you did tho, so I'll need your help for that, lol
I genuinely thought you were some kinda scam at first, with the link and all that, so that's why I removed your first comment. Kinda feel silly for reacting that way, so I hope I didn't come off too strong.
I just woke up so I thought you were the one sus. Idk what you mean about suspicious obfuscated JS. It's just so people don't look at my js code cuz I'm shy about it. There's nothing deep about it. If you want my raw JS, just ask instead of jumping to conclusions and immediately treating it as suspicious
Honestly, I'm not even sure what kind of shady thing you want me to do with a html story game anyway?

The explanations won't be as detailed in Jordan or Robin's route as they are on Athiel's route since they'll have a different perspective depending on who told MC about El. Either way, you'll be able to hate them and cut contact if that's your wish. Or just hate them and make them grovel before 'forgiving' them and working on things (<—it'll take time for MC to forgive). Or forgive them (then again, forgiving won't make MC forget).
Hope you still enjoyed the update despite the frustration, haha
I do agree that there are a lot of things happening; that's one of the reasons why I'm doing a rewrite to try to pace it more naturally. I tend to let my thoughts wander while writing or planning, so I get that it can put people off. As for the ROs lacking depth, well, I'll just have to try and do better next time—something I can't promise since I'm still learning as I go. Though, if it's too frustrating for you, it might just not be your cup of tea or how you envisioned the game going. I won't meet everyone's expectations, including yours. That's okay, it happens.
Thanks for your input.
Sadly, yes. A lot of things have been implemented, the UI being one of them. I know it's never ideal to start a game all over again, especially when it's already fairly big, but I promise there won't be any more rewrites hahaha. I'll also try to include an option to jump to chapter four for those who aren't interested in those changes and are just as impatient as I am to get to the latest chapter.
Hope that helps!
So sorry for the late reply, hope you're doing well.
I'm doing a rewrite at the moment. Started writing chapter 4 a while ago but decided to focus on the rewrite first. It'll probably take another month or so to finish the rewrite. (I'm trying to add and modify only stuff that really needs it, so hopefully it won't take as long as the prologue, which needed a lot of additions.)
Hey there! There are some helpful templates on itch.io that could assist you. I created mine using this template: https://vahnya.itch.io/twine-template
Additionally, here are some other templates that might be useful (though I'm not sure if they're all updated):
https://ccrberus.itch.io/twine-sugarcube-template / https://manonamora.itch.io/twine-sugarcube-templates / https://vahnya.itch.io/twine-template-ii
Hope that helps! <3

Fair enough.
