Hello everyone!

The Isles of Destiny series continues: the new 3D chapter is now available!

I’ve introduced new mechanics and small improvements that make the island feel even more alive.

Thank you to everyone who is following this project step by step.

Nice game!

At the beginning I kept falling past the platforms when jumping, but later I understood how to do it.

You have a nice idea here!

With some improvements to the gameplay and controls, the overall game experience could become much better.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll begin my voting. I’ll start with those who voted for my game and left a comment. If you’d like to try my game, here’s my page: Isles of Destiny 3D – The Cursed Lands

Happy jam, everyone!

I voted for your game.

Hello everyone! This is my game for Platformer Jam 2: Isles of Destiny 3D – The Cursed Land.

Thank you!

Help the pirate, transformed into a rabbit by a mysterious curse, escape these dangerous lands and return to the sea. Jump across the islands, avoid the waters he can no longer swim in, collect magical carrots, and uncover the secrets of the Cursed Lands.

Hi everyone!

This is the game I created for the jam, using GDevelop 5.  It’s a simple project, I hope you enjoy trying it out!

Congrats, great job! I had a lot of fun playing it.

Thanks! I’m glad you liked the sandwich idea .

After the jam, I’ll keep working on the project.

Thank you so much! I’m really glad you had fun.

You’re right about the controls: this is the only game where I didn’t include a tutorial at the beginning.

Once the jam is over, I’ll add a screen with the key explanations so everything will be clearer.

Great job, the game is really fun!

Simple mini‑game but very well made. Great job!

Nice game! It fits the jam theme very well. Great job!

Nice graphics, but the game is a bit hard to play.

 Nice game!

I understood that the cube is not supposed to go into the glass, but I stopped when it went down to the area with the three glasses because I didn’t know what to do next.

Anyway, the idea is nice and fun!

Thank you so much for your feedback!

GDevelop was originally created as a 2D engine, so making 3D gameplay with it is a bit more challenging.I really appreciate your comment!

This game was created for the Comfy Jam Summer. For now, it’s a demo, but the project will continue to be developed after the jam ends.

Explore the island, collect the items you need, and discover what the mysterious Skulls really want. This is just a small taste of the full adventure coming in the future.

Feel free to leave a comment with suggestions or just to say if you already like it as it is. Thank you all for your support!

I created this game before releasing the bigger title in the series.

In the new game, the character will be able to do much more, and the islands will be larger and richer to explore.

If you want to try this earlier project and leave a comment, I would really appreciate it.

Do we know when the results of the BIG Game Jam #9 will be published? Just checking if there’s an official date.

Can I also submit a gameplay-only video, where the game is being played without commentary? Here is the YouTube link.

There are only a few hours left before the jam ends, so I decided to record a video showing how to finish my game and some tricks along the way. I didn’t cut out the two or three mistakes I made while playing — they’re all in there!

The jam is almost over, only two days left, so I’ll reveal the trick to get past the spikes.

Move your character slightly to the left,  between the second and third spike, and then keep jumping continuously.

You should be able to pass that section easily.

Great job! The graphics are really well done and the movements feel smooth to control.

Thanks for the reply!

Great game, I really had fun playing it. I’m not sure if it already supports touch controls, but if not, I’d recommend making a mobile version — games like this work really well on phones.

Hi! I have a question: is it allowed to create a 3D game as long as the graphics and gameplay follow NES limitations? For example, using 3D models but rendering them with NES-style colors and restrictions.

“Great game, and the gameplay is solid. I’m not sure if it already works on mobile, but if not, you should consider converting it — this kind of game does really well on phones.”

Very fun game! I think it would be perfect on mobile too. If it’s not already compatible, you could add touch controls with a virtual joystick.
