I was out of irl game jam and got a bit burnt out. I had more in mind but decided do something small. There are some nice spots to visit in the game. You can look it at as a small game like a short dream. But if you want more explanation:
It's a dream-like realm where we go to the edge of the reality, The message at the start and at the end connects "At the edge of this reality, I wait to remember the path to my home". After seeing the text, the greeny path goes invisible tho you can walk on it. You can return to it. But it isnt an objective. It's just some vibe gaming in an unfinished game :D Thanks for liking it ^^
Visuals and colors are so good. I liked the cube starting to melt into the floor when getting closer to the end. I wished it was longer. It feels like a mixture of Journey, Manifold Garden and early levels of human fall flat :D Good job on atmosphere and visuals! It needs more gameplay mechanics and levels tho.
Thank you ^^ As I know sleep paralysis can happen in this state but made it about a state of transitioning from sleep to wakefulness. In this state, people can hallucinate, like it's an extension of their dream. It happens for a short time. In the game, the character is able to move but it's an observer, which can alter reality as it percieve. The first part was supposed to be about REM state and the second part was going to be with a parallax background and we were going to alter the world around us while top-down shooter stuff happening but I had to cut the content due to time constraints :D Btw you can see pupil size changing after you use 'SPACE' attack. Thank you for playing ^^
Good atmosphere, context felt a bit like Dusk. Enemies spawn a lot and you can get stuck so you have to be careful. I would like it more if the game was more fast-paced and easier to kill enemies. The gun doesn't feel useful if we are not in close range. I liked the red ball but it goes upwards so I try to launch it like a bawling ball. Good job, cool game ^^
Scope 48 saatlik bir süre için fazla olmuş. Jam için kısa parkurlar yerine daha uzun koridor gibi yapılarda etrafta hızlanıp koşabilsek daha eğlenceli parkur bölümleri olurdu ancak playtesti daha çok gerekirdi ki zamanınız çok sıkışmıştır o yüzden olmamasını anlıyorum. Böyle bir görselliğe ve konsepte iki günde bunları çıkarabilmeniz güzel olmuş! Devamı gelirse güzel olur. Biraz Mirror's Edge kafası sezmiştim başta comic artlar olması ve parkurla alakalı olması fln. Güzel bir parkur ve fight mekanikli iş çıkarırsanız jamdan sonra, oynamak isterim ^^
