well, I hope game is good…I preordered it today then noticed I had also preordered it 79 days ago!!!  So, I guess I will have two”copies” of it when it gets released.  Oh well, I don’t mind since this is an independent developer.  Can’t wait for the game!

ok, gotcha….thank you.   I didn’t mean to sound like a smarty pants but was t sure if there was something I just missed in the rules or not.

where can I get Overland Adventures now?

where can I get Overland Adventures?

Wow...I totally did not understand the "sets" at all as I was thinking "icon" meant the target shape and location (again thinking, for example, the top 3 bumpers were one complete set, not just 3 of the 8 bumpers in the set).  Thank you so much for clarifying that.  Now I will go back and replay this game with the newly understood rules and see how I do.

I hope you end up publishing a season 3 sometime soon.

The way I understand the new scoring concept for season 2 is...the old way was if you had three bumpers with number of 2, 5, and 10, you'd score 17, now you score 1 (for the 2), 2 (for the 5) and 3 (for the 10) giving you 6 (plus 1 more point for completing the set so the score is 7).   Is this correct?

I am also confused as to sets.  For example, with Escape the Vent, how are the sets divided?

 - One way is the top right 3 bumpers are one set, the 4 formulas are one set each, the 3 ramps are one set each and the bottom left 2 bumpers are one set.  This would give a total of 9 sets which sounds like way too many.

- Another possible way is, all bumpers no matter where they are, are one set, all rollovers are one set, all ramps are one set and all tunnels are one set (for a total of 4 sets).  This would match the rule for Rollovers (Value must match all Rollovers in set) but would not match the rule for Ramps (Value must be higher than other Ramps in set). The Ramps rule implies each ramp is its own set.

Help!!!

(1 edit)

I get it that can collect treasure but it’s not a winning condition and I don’t see that you can buy anything, so what’s the point of treasure?

also, since there’s no movement, the mazes look great on paper but what is their point?  Some are very intricate but unless you have to navigate through them, do you not just go from one battle to the next?  I’m not being snarky but it seems the game could be a little more fleshed out with movement or you must draw your path and lose treasure if you take a wrong turn or something. That would feed into my above comment too.

One other rules question....If I am near the top row and die thrown would require the shape being drawn to extend past the top row border (i.e. a six for example can only be drawn vertically but only the first two blocks would be colored in and the remaining two blocks would extend past the top row border).   If I am able to still draw this, I could complete the row and score points; if not, then the game ends immediately because I could not actually draw the shape into the available spaces.   Please confirm what is allowed.  I think I can still draw the shape, complete my row, and end the game with the points....

thank you. That’s awesome.

I’ve just discovered this game. Any chance you could convert the multiple 1-200 .png files into a single PDF?

I recently discovered this game and love it.  Consulting Mathematician  is next but I just saw that, apparently before v1.2, you could use 10 dice.  I have found that the game, as it is, seems to either need more turns or more dice per turn.  For an easy mode, I’m going to try it with 10 dice instead.
