This was a well paced and enjoyable little game. Went super hard on the whimsy and that's good in my book

The kind of horror that I can stomach :P Fan of that! I love the vibes, in fact, and I think the idea is super original for the jam and really interesting! I like that you're basically coding your team mates. It's really neat to make it beyond just a puzzle -> it's a puzzle that you have to reason + deduce your way to solve.
I know it's against the "countdown" theme maybe, but I would have liked a pause command that let me better take in all the info I had. Like, maybe not when someone is counting down to MAKE a decision (Cause then you could just cheat) but any time where there's peace/just investigation going on, it'd be nice if I could take a minute and see what I've got. Without another comment coming up and adding more.
Thaaaat may just be me though, and the time given is really fair as it is.
Point is, I'd love to see this expanded on out of the jam! I'm impressed that so much was done IN the time, too! Great game, thrilling experience!
I need a full version of this. I got all the trophies and I want to get more and I want to explore the depths of the craft system and I want more wind up toys and I want to go on a whole campaign with this game.
The art is great, the depth is awesome, and the vibe is cute!
Only thing I'd say, and I have to nitpick with this one, is that it'd be nice if you could sort of fast-forward or skip the spin-machine animation stuff when you have got a lot of coins to spend.
But this was an awesome experience :D Thanks
I loved seeing little wizard dashing around! That was cool! And the combat was solid! Was excited to see what each new number would do as a spell I could use. Whimsical vibe! I had a blast with it. There's a room with a hole in the middle that you can stand on which I assume is more "ran out of time" than "i forgot" but it doesn't really take away from the game enjoyment so it's mainly a nitpick
Oh cool! I kinda wished you could swap a bit quicker sometimes but I think I can see why you wouldn't want that, necessarily. When I had one character through and the other still going, but mistiming the jumps it was a bit harsh to just hold down with the other character. But I love the concept and the game was fun! Having a straight forward platforming and some nice additional puzzles for the coins is really good too!
I enjoyed this one a lot. At first, when the board goes all disorienting as it reshuffles itself I found it annoying BUT the fact that mis-clicking doesn't punish you too much makes it not matter so much. It's a really cool idea and I swear I tried to get on the leaderboard but these other people are just way better than me, lol! Despite not being on the board, it was a great game!
I really love the concept here! It's super unique and I could see it becoming a genre in and of itself. I think the game could do with a tutorial and/or for the loss+restart process to be a bit quicker so you can jump right back in after a failure. I think the different nodes being different beats is just really cool and while I do like how difficult it is, I think it could just be a bit less punishing on reading things in the moment (maybe a pause button that still allows for tool tips and whatnot)
Awesome game! Thanks for the experience
Awesome score and thanks for the feedback! I assume you were using Arrow keys? I found that, too, that having it reset to 0,0 off the grid wasn't ideal but I just didn't have time to change it. Also, you're right, balancing those intel was tough, so your feedback is super appreciated! Theorist Theory and Late Night Epiphany are the GOAT :P
Thanks for playing
Wow! As soon as I heard this concept, live, I was like. Ooooooh! Interesting. The fact that this game starts out laggy BUT doesn't really lag from there is INCREDIBLE considering the time you had and the sheer amount of stuff in here. I just love how everything sort of melds together to add to the initial premise of "you got a weapon for a bit". The crumbling arena means that some weapons are gonna go before you get to them, the upgrades caring about what type of weapon - so you can have a sword-favoured run and a spear-favoured run.
One thing, I kept thinking I had to dash over to each platform because of the gap between them. Felt strange to stand on a gap between platforms, especially when part of the game is them falling
But that little nitpick is to stop me gushing too much about the rest.
Great game! Great experience! Thank you!
Incredible game! I'm actually not sure if I won, but the ending picture looked like I did, heh! This world, though, and the premise of the game is just so chef's kiss! Like even if I beat the game or not, I feel like there's so much more you can do just in THIS game jam game. Let alone what you could do if you took this further... and please take this further cause I wanna run around this world some more and try intuit some more words and whatnot!
Charming, great vibes. Awesome experience! Unforgettable world!
I think I can see what you're doing here. I'm not sure if the evidence to oppose is necessary. I think a game where you have a couple of bars for like, popularity, productivity, finance, stuff like that (not too many) and you literally just pass bills. That could be fun. Cause the funny pigeon bill is neat, and it'd have been nice just to see more like that, and seeing how your pass/oppose/abstain would effect your stats. Some MPs could speak to you and try bribe you to vote their way. You could maybe check socials to get a vibe of popularity. Like, that as a base, with a bigger narrative on trying to find specific corrupt politicians and get them exposed could be fun. Or, well, there's loads of ways this could go and I hope you do continue with the idea. Cause it's got a fun base
Love this game! All the sound, graphics, and design is built for the singular theme! It's immersive and light hearted and just fun to play. Gambling is the most fun when it's not real money! It was straight forward and despite the randomness, there is a strategy to it which feels good! The little upgrades between rounds was a nice touch too! Helps you progress at your own pace and not get overwhelmed too fast! Great game!
This was such a super cool game! I would love this as a full game, even though it works so perfectly as a small jam-sized game too. I just thought the characters were both so great and would like to experience more. Felt a lot like an Undertale/Deltarune style of writing (which is of course a good thing) and that you did so much in such a short time was cool! Most charming game I've played so far. Thanks for the experience!
Wicked creative! Love how the one sort of design theme of Charging influences each little section of a typical Tower Defense to make it stand out! The victory is electrical charging, the turrets are, the charging, the grabbing coins. Lands for a very fun-chaotic game that has you leaning forward when the going gets tough! Great game!
Wow! I'm never not impressed when a unique type of game shows up. This is one of them! I really love the vibe and I like how it's simple yet has a lot of depth! When the tutorial is over, it's got that freedom to make more informed choices and as long as you keep your energy, there's no wrong move. So it's not like a one-size-fits-all puzzle. It's an adventure! The cryptic theming stuff and flavour is so fun too! Thanks for the experience!
Oh wow! This was so cool! Original idea. Some of the upgrades/attacks seemed way worse than others and stuff buuuuut they all can be used in different ways to make your way through the waves. Obviously the best thing about this game is the creativity it has! The real-world art style mixed with the simple, cute, and effective sprite stuff! It's just amazing! Beautiful game with some epic screen transitions and a fantastic vibe
Thanks for the experience!
I really love the concept here, the execution is fantastic for such a short time, too! Wild! Funny! I wish I knew how I did a bit better. In terms of, like, if I give multiple word answer and she just mentions the first word Im not sure if it's supposed to be one word sentences or not. I think it was my fault, and I assume my issue was not using proper punctuation Lol! Like the "I" "Am" "That" and stuff. I was just doing like "Nervous. Excited. Epic" Which, to be fair, is a weird sentence.
