I had a tutorial and it was really bad. Like, I think it made it harder to understand 😅 but you're right. I think i should have gotten one of those rpg dialogue plugins people use and had it just sort of walk through what's going on but I didn't have time.
Better yet, if I just called it/described it as Wordle/Mastermind with Hints, it may have been easier to understand!
