I have learned the hard way that releasing a game is your moment to shine. If it wasnt good the moment you uploaded to Itch, the game is doomed to flop. But then, even flopped games can be worth the effort as the people who keep with you on the journey to betterment, will still play your games no matter the quality of its art.

Hi y'all, it's been two days since I posted the first chapter of my first Ren'Py game.
The first rating I got was a one star, I understand that, compared to experienced Ren'Py game designers ReGenesis looks a bit... bad.
It's not that I do not want to create good images, its just that with the limited skills I have, it's not possible. For the remainder of ReGenesis, I will most defenitely keep at MakeHuman for my models, and Copilot for the backgrounds.
In Chapter 1 I chose to add no nudity, because the relationships are to build up.
So, I did expect to not have a good rating. But the person who rated RG has left no comment. That means I do not know where to start improving. And thats why I ask you, the about 114 people who downloaded RG over the last two days, What you think of the game. Where I can start improving. And why I should do it.
I thank you all.
