I liked the references to all the classics :D

Super sweet gam :)!
It took my quite long to figure it all out. Once I knew I messed it up with the black cat. So I played again and was quite fast.
Don't know how exactly I did it, but I cloned the black cat, so it was there 3 times (probably because I was so quick).
Let me know if anyone else can reproduce the same thing :D
Played for about an hour and since I couldn't figure out the solution how to get any further than that, here's what I liked and didn't really.
The soothing music and pace is nice and calming.
I liked the whole idea of the game and it's fun up to a point of course where you get stuck and can't go anywhere from there.
The info panels were shown quite short and I had to open them 4, 5 times to get their meaning. Can't you make the player decide when to shut them?
Some kind of hint system for players that are not so much Sherlock Holmes would be great! So that they can actually finish the game if they decided they've been enjoying it.
I understand it cannot all be perfect and polished as it's a game jam game, but if you made at least a small update that'd help a lot of players I suppose.
Some levels were quite difficult - the last one with the block above I got by wall jumping from the left through the opening, but it left me unsure if that really was the intended solution as it was really hard to get the timing right to make the second wall jump to get higher. Unusually hard comparing the former levels.
Still overall a great game! Had lots of fun!
A few words about what I liked and what can better - first I had no clue I can jump in level one even, which is why I got stuck and was about to give up, before someone asked me if I tried every button - so per coincidence I found the jump button. No clue it was space. The hint bubble says "wasd" to move, which is obviously not true. Only, A and D, left click and space.
I got stuck in the first level with 2 tall x-blocks as well - again at the point of giving up. Then again found the solution myself after looking if I can found some hint in the internet - which I didn't.
My idea: Don't you think you can implement a hint system for players that can't figure out a solution by themselves? To prevent they close the game in frustration.
Word of praise:
You made a great little game with really fun mechanics, sound design and fantastic separation and melt back together behaviour! I loved the game :) !!
(Not including here the drawbacks I mentioned earlier)
Way to go! :) Hope my critic helps.
