I'm in love with this game... or was... until... you know what you did....

I really like the idea of dropping it down to 2 worlds. This would simplify things and allow us to refine some puzzles! Great idea.
The dash went through a few iterations. It started as pure velocity and time based. This was hard to tune. In the end, I ended up going with a tween against the players velocity and it is extremely easy to tweak to exactly what you want. This on top of the ghost fade makes it so crisp. Thanks for coming by.
One more thing, we've fixed the spawn kill bug. Huzzah! Thanks for reporting.
Yea, the directions on the page were for keyboard and controller. In game it switches based on your last input.
< and > were left in on purpose to allow players to skip things they get stuck on to explore more of the levels since we have 7. It would not be a final game kind of thing.
Items is a great idea. Would give the user another positive dopamine. Thanks for swinging by!
Controller is def something I focused on for this. I was surprised I haven't ran into many other games with controller support so far in the jam. The platformer controller ended up ballooning to over 400 lines of code and by the end of the jam I was shoving things in places they shouldn't be.
Greatly appreciate your comments. "Game game" absolutely made me smile! Thanks for stopping by.
First of all... I appreciate the speaking role in your game... QUACK! Though I am a bit disappointed in the apparent lack of world for us ducks to hang out on.
This game was beautiful, it was an experience, the music is *chefs kiss* I'm only sad that I explored all the planets as far as I can tell. There were so many, how'd you get so many in so quickly? Awesome job
It ended entirely too soon. The puzzles were so intuitive, I just ran through them and got what I earned! Thank you so much for this beautiful little experience, and you did it all alone, fantastic job! I don't have any feedback other than... I want more levels and I got a unity crash in full screen on one of the levels
Absolute joy of a puzzle game! Finished it and want more. First few puzzles were a bit confusing until the mechanic just clicked and I was all in. None of the levels were necessarily hard. Many of them have just a few nodes leaving ease of brute force, but some of the solutions were certainly unique.
Any thoughts on future mechanics you might add to the puzzle to manipulate colors?
Love the voice acting of course..
Here's what I did...
I shroomed, Zoltar shroomed, Zoltar hungry, we snacked, swim swim (why you do this???) got lost in the forest.
Overall I loved the concept, the art, the theme and atmosphere. Just a great fun little experience.
The blur was a bit intense and gave me a headache.
Evil mom could see me through wall, what the heck mom? or whoever you are. That forest was rough, I dunno how I guessed my way out.
Overall awesome experience and very on theme!
Love the art style. I think my favorite is the neon night theme and its music. I am a sucker for cyberpunk and all things neon :)
Cutscene is cute and the art style is consistent throughout!
The concept was so good, we stole it from you lol!
Some settings would help with sound levels. Found a typo in cutscene with "forest"
Checkpoints would be awesome, or a way to move faster. I at first forgot to check the description so I did not know there was a dimension switch at first. I came back to play a second time to write some more comments and had to watch the cutscene. It's cute, but a way to skip would be nice :)
