  • What types of cards or upgrades would you like to see?
    • I don't really have any suggestions for this.
  • What types of enemies would you like to see added to the game?
    • Maybe enemies with the level of difficulties.
  • Does the overall movement of the affection slider feel good?
    • The slider seems good and intuitive.
  • Is there any other additions you would like to see?
    • Audio feedback.

Overall, I think your game is pretty awesome! Whoever designed the characters did a solid job.

-Does the game provide too much or not enough assistance to the player in terms of solving puzzles?

-  Except for the beginning of the game, I think it provides just the right amount of assistance.

-Are there any specific puzzles/mechanics you would like to see?

- Since she's a newly graduated witch, maybe it'd be fun to have a couple of spells that would do useless but funny things.

-Does this room look like a spaceship room?

- Yes, it feels like it.

-Does the walking seem intuitive?

- Yes, it does. Although the speed does seem too slow.

-Does the spell usage seem intuitive?

- I think it is.

-Does the information in the text box help?

- Yes, I love how it gives feedbacks.

1. How does the world feel?

- It looks beautiful now. I'm guessing there are going to be more additions as the game development progresses and it would look even nicer.

2. How does player movement and camera movement feel?

- It felt good. Camera movement could improve. The camera really zooms in when you go downhill and it's hard to see where you're heading.

3. General things you like?

- Apart from the aesthetics, I like how particles indicated the baddie approaching. I thought that was really cool.

4. General things you don't like?

- Personally, I didn't like having to click and hold the right button to look around. I would've preferred it with just the movement of the mouse.

5. What do you wish the game did?

- Wish it gave me clear directions.

6. General reaction/comments?

- Excited to see how the game development progresses!

  • What types of cards or upgrades would you like to see?

- It would be cool to see another deck of cards that could be used to enhance your abilities to sabotage the other person's affection.

  • What types of enemies would you like to see added to the game?

- The game has a whimsical vibe to it so maybe silly enemies would fit well.

  • Does the overall movement of the affection slider feel good?

- Yes.

  • Is there any other additions you would like to see?

- Sound effects and some movement of the characters or audience.

  • What about the current world do you like/don't like?

-  The look and feel of the world are very nice and the different footstep sounds are a nice touch.

  • How do the controls feel?

- The controls feel good, the camera speed is nice, not too fast or slow

  • Given the game is focused around magical crafting, do you have any suggestions for recipes or items that would fit the theme?

-  It would be cool to have something to make the water freeze so you can walk across it without sinking in.

  • Is there anything you hope to do in the game that has not yet been implemented?

- Combat using magic or puzzles

  • Any other general C&C.

The mountains in the background don't fully show up but apart from that, I am excited to see how this game development progresses.

  • How does the pacing of the game feel, is it too fast or too slow?

- It feels fine.

  • In what ways might we be able to improve the challenge and the 'hectic-ness' of the game beyond the difficulty of the modules and timing?

- It would be more interesting if you introduce more types of modules, possibly even modules that unlock other types of modules. For instance, you may repair a leak in the pipes that would then allow water to flow to a turbine and that could be a different type of repairment.

  • Do you like the current module?

- Yes it works well and the level of difficulty can be adjusted.

  • Would you like to see Ernie have abilities/upgrades and if so what would you like to see?

- He could have items to use to interact with the environment.

  • Game-breaking glitches/bugs?

- none

Music volume: is it too loud, too quiet?

- The volume was fine. I like the upbeat music.

What did you dislike and why?

- Dislike is a strong word but I wish there were more variety of enemies.

Did you feel like anything was missing and what?

- When you get hit by the enemies, the response to it seems a bit lacking. Except for the music, there wasn't anything else. Maybe the player could glitch or something?

Was there something you tried to do but couldn’t?

- Nope.

Did the controls feel natural?

- Yes.

Is the objective clear?

- Yes.

Did you feel like you were getting adequate feedback on your actions?

- The sound effects were good and provided enough feedback to the actions.

Look and feel:

  • Does the character feel sluggish? Is it fine for the character to feel slow if upgrades will eventually make the character feel better?

- Yes, the character definitely feels sluggish but I guess it would be fine if upgrades eventually make the character less sluggish as the game advances.

Enemies:

  • Can you see the game becoming too difficult? If so how do you think we should balance it?

-  It doesn't seem too difficult.

  • Are there too many enemies? How many unique enemies do you think there should be?

-It doesn't seem like there are too many enemies as of now.  Unique enemies would make the game interesting for sure but I don't know if I am in a position to tell how many unique enemies there should be.

Tower defense side:

Turrets:

  • What upgrades to the turrets do you want to see?

- It would be nice to see where the turrets are firing.

  • Is the firing speed good for the amount of enemies?

- I couldn't tell for sure as I didn't see where it was firing.

  • How many unique Turrets do you think there should be?

- Again, I'm not sure if I'm in the position to make that decision.

  • Are the turrets’ sliders easy to use?

- I'm not sure if it helped. I didn't see much difference when changing the numbers in the sliders.

Enemies:

  • Is the pathing good for the Enemies?

- It seems okay but I'd like to see them more spread out.

  • What kind of improvements should the Enemies have?

- Enemies seem to die immediately once they're hit by bullets, maybe the unique ones could be harder to kill?

Cat side:

Cat:

  • Is this cat chonky enough?

- Looks chonky enough. Chonkier the better!

  • When shooting with the main cat do you see any improvements? If so, what are they?

- It was hard to tell where the cat was shooting. Seeing where the bullet is going could help.

  • Is the movement of the cat coherent?

- Compared to the enemies, the cat's movement seems slow.

  • How are the cats movement?

- Could be a bit faster.

Overall, a great job! I can't wait to play the refined version.
