Hello there,
My first post got published immediately while the second is pending approval for over a week now. A bit concerned about this. Can this happen with any post down the line, not just this one?
My ticket is 372736. thanks.
I see. So in this case, should I rather go for game-less posts, or a mostly empty but published game profile to attach posts to? (I'm inclined towards the former as if someone wants to follow the updates, they can just go ahead and follow my profile, not like I'm working on several games at once right now)
Hi and thanks for your quick response.
Just to double-check - I don't think the page you've linked contains an answer to the question "is a devlog of a draft game visible?". I take your word for it, of course - just letting you know in case the answer was supposed to be there.
One thing I found that seems remotely connected to the subject:
Although, if you create devlog entries, then those will be indexed if the page is public.
But it doesn't clarify if they will be indexed if the page is not public. I know I can just go ahead and try but I wouldn't want the attempt to count against "Don’t try to circumvent any indexing restrictions" in case anything goes wrong.
Thanks.
Hi guys,
I'd like to start posting dev logs for a game I'm working on. It is a rough WIP, so at this time it doesn't have any artwork to show off or even a solid title.
I created a page in "Draft" status for it. If I post a devlog for that page, will it be visible? I searched the Internet but the results were contradictory.
Basically, I'd like to start sharing my progress before the game page is live, and I wonder if that's possible.
Thanks!
